The Servants tend to get called by their class names instead of their real names to avoid revealing their weaknesses, though this turns out to be unnecessary as no one in Orario knows who they are, but they still tend to keep their names secret. In addition, they need to announce the names of their Noble Phantasms, crystallized legends from their stories of origin, to activate them. Sigurd reveals his true name to Ais after accepting her request to teach her his skills.

* KilledOffscreen: Gilgamesh's POV reveals that he apparently killed Zanis Lustra, the corrupt Captain of the Soma Familia, after Lily joined the Hestia Familia.

** Chapter 52. Tiona, Tione, and Bete are attacked by someone that the younger Amazon recognizes.

** Bell's preferred weapon is a small dagger and gets the Hestia Knife to keep up with his rapidly growing power.

** Welf has fought side by side with the Hestia Familia and regularly hangs out with them, but he has no idea several members are Heroic Spirits and just thinks they are all unusually powerful for their levels. Bell feels guilty for not telling him.

* CoolSword: Sigurd's Gram is the mighty demonic sword from the Volsunga saga that is said to be the equal of the strongest holy sword, Excalibur. In addition to being a {{BFS}}, its shards can separate into daggers and short swords that he can punch into his foes.

* ForWantOfANail: [[spoiler:In the sidestory, events to ''Anime/ArrowOfTheOrion'' plays out differently including that it's Gina, with help from Orion, who pulls out the spear and Caster reveals Artemis's exact nature to Hestia and his Familia members way early.]]

* InSpiteOfANail: Even without Hestia going into the Dungeon and using her Arcanum, the Goliath still ends up becoming an Enhanced Species [[spoiler:due to Hermes being in the room when it came out]].

* DualWielding: It's lampshaded that many members of the Hestia Familia fight with a weapon in each hand.

* FrameUp: [[AvertedTrope Averted]]. While Apollo seemingly has the upper hand with this, Gilgamesh already anticipated this would happen so he gave Bell actual footage to present to everyone at the gala.
* GrandTheftMe: [[spoiler:When Bell is holding the Grail and talking about wanting to be a true hero, the Grail summons the spirit of Argonaut, who possesses Bell's body, leaving Bell unconscious, then takes his body for a joyride.]]

* InvisibleToNormals: Gilgamesh gives Lily a ring that makes her invisible except for people who have magical powers.

* LoveAtFirstSight: Bell meets Ais at a later date than canon, but he is completely smitten when he finally meets her, to his Servants' amusement.

* ReplacementGoldfish: Gilgamesh gets a soft spot for the Goddess Ninsun, the counterpart of his mother. Though this Ninsun never had children, she becomes fond of him too. Ninsun seems to be dating a member of her Familia named Lugal Banda (Gilgamesh's father is named Lugalbanda), and he and Gilgamesh also become fond of each other.
* SamusIsAGirl: Brynhildr is astonished to learn that Hephaistos is a woman in this world.

* SensoryOverload: Kid Gil defeats Bete with a stinkbomb. The poor werewolf ends up unconscious on his feet with foam in his mouth.

* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: While he acts arrogantly around Bell and Lily, Gilgamesh shows that he cares about them.
** An example of that is how Gilgamesh "punishes" Lily by having her live in Hestia's church for the crime of having the Soma Familia after her money.
** He later attacks the base of the Freya Familia for targeting Bell.

* MaleGaze: During the SwimsuitScene, the boys' gazes immediately fell on the girls' breasts, in no small part due to Hestia's decision to proudly wear a bikini.

* MistakenIdentity: [[spoiler:Argonaut mistakes Ais, Lefiya, Tione, and Tiona for his old companions Aria, Fina, Elmina, and Orna. He realizes his mistake when he sees Ais' eye color and Lefiya's elf ears, then apologizes.]]

** During the War Games arc, Primo rides on Asterios' shoulder and says, "Let's get em, Berserker!" This references Illya and her Berserker, Heracles.
** Welf makes Gina a plushie that resembles bear Orion.
* NeverLearnedToRead: Jack the Ripper does not know how to read or write. Lily has to fill out her forms for her when she registers at the Guild.

** A mysterious individual named Fels and his God Ouranos also knows about the Heroic Spirits.

* EatingTheEyeCandy: At the beginning of War Game, EMIYA takes off his coat, showing his bare arms for the world to see. Tione and the Kali Familia ''certainly'' appreciate the sight.

* FutureMeScaresMe: Downplayed. When Gilgamesh ages himself down, his younger self thinks his older self is an asshole.
* GentleGiant: Asterios is a big, menacing monster; but under that is a kind and gentle soul.

* HelpingWouldBeKillstealing: There's almost nothing stopping the Servants of the Hestia Familia from steamrolling everything in their path aside from needing to keep Bell safe and healthy, but they decide to let him fight most of his own battles in order to fuel his own growth. After all, he's living while they're merely transient spirits.

* MasterSwordsman: Sigurd was known as the "King of Warriors" in his time and his swordsmanship is so refined that even Ais admits that hers pales before his and decides to learn from him as his student.

* OlderAlterEgo: Inverted. Gilgamesh reverts himself to his child form in order to raid both the Freya Familia and Ishtar Familia with the entirety of the Gate of Babylon at his disposal without drawing suspicion towards the Hestia Familia.

** Chapter 47. [[spoiler:When Bell and Lefiya are about to be killed by a monster, Argonaut possesses Bell again, then summons the spirit of his adoptive sister Fina, who possesses Lefiya. Together, they defeat the monster before returning control of their bodies. Lefiya experiences Fina's memories in her dreams and confronts Bell about Heroic Spirits. Meanwhile, Gilgamesh, Finn, Gareth, and Riveria realize the monster was created from the remains of the legendary monster Behemoth.]]

* WhamEpisode: Chapter 28. [[spoiler:Bell's group learns there are intelligent monsters when they discover someone trafficking a kidnapped harpy.]]

* RightForTheWrongReasons: After meeting [[spoiler:Argonaut]], Lefiya shoots the theory that Archer, Saber, and Caster are either possessed or made a contract with a Spirit. She's right in that their abilities come from the power of Spirits, but wrong in that they don't get it ''from'' Spirits, but that they themselves ''are'' (Heroic) Spirits.

* ShowingOffTheNewBody: In a sense. [[spoiler:Argonaut immediately sprints off for the dungeon to see how powerful he is in Bell's body. To his delight, he realize he doesn't need to hide behind his former companions anymore, as Bell's ridiculous stats and overpowered knife make him more than capable of slaughtering monsters on the upper floors with ease.]]

** Downplayed. Bell is officially the Hestia Familia's vice-captain with Gilgamesh being the one in charge as the captain. Unbeknownst to most of the world, Gilgamesh and most of the Hestia Familia are Servants who are thus subordinate to Bell as their power source. That said, Bell is still ''far'' weaker than most of his Servants, to the point that Sigurd, Gilgamesh, and Brynhildr can easily take on entire familias on their own.

* ClarkKenting: Tiona does not recognize EMIYA when he wears glasses. EMIYA was not even trying to disguise himself.
* ClingyJealousGirl: As usual, Hestia is in love with Bell and doesn't like him hanging out with other girls.
* CoolMask: Sigurd has one.

* KillSteal: The War Game ends anticlimatically. When Bell is about to finish off Hyakinthos while proudly declaring his Familia's name, Emma suddenly knocks Hyakinthos out by throwing a potion bottle at him. Though it was suitably karmic considering the War Game was started by Hyakinthos attacking Emma.

* LanguageBarrier: EMIYA writes a cookbook for the familia, but it is in Japanese, so Bell and the other non-Servants cannot read it.

** Only the Servants [[spoiler:and Lily as of Chapter 35]] are aware that the "mysterious blonde boy" attacking people is actually a [[FountainOfYouth de-aged]] Caster.

* MoodWhiplash: Chapter 44 is light-hearted for the most part and focuses on the members of the Hestia Familia enjoying Grand Day. [[spoiler:Then Bell receives a letter from Ishtar and Gilgamesh discovers it before the former has a chance to dispose of it. Gil is ''not happy.'']]

* WeNeedADistraction: Bell realizes that Ryuu and Syr had gotten into a fight with Terry Cervantes' men at the casino over the lives of the girls Terry enslaved. To distract the Ganesha Familia, Bell decides to abuse his Luck skill to win an utterly massive number of chips before knocking them all over as the girls spill out of the VIP area. This gets the down-on-their-luck adventurers and gods to pounce on the chips, starting a ruckus that security is forced to contain rather than investigate Ryuu's fight.

* WrongGenreSavvy: The Servants continue to hide their real names with their class names to avoid revealing potential weaknesses and confusion over their identities' relations to the gods. This ends up being a nearly complete waste of time, as the majority of Bell's Servants aren't recognized by anyone, but Freya does feel a certain kinship with Sigurd and Brynhildr.

A story written by [[https://forums.spacebattles.com/members/harouki.81936/ harouki]], which is a crossover of ''LightNovel/IsItWrongToTryToPickUpGirlsInADungeon'' and ''VideoGame/FateGrandOrder''. In here, rather than being saved by Ais, Bell is saved from the minotaur by EMIYA, who he summoned after finding a Holy Grail earlier. As Bell levels up and becomes stronger, he becomes able to summon more Servants, who all join Hestia's Familia. So far, he's summoned EMIYA as Archer, Gilgamesh as Caster, Sigurd as Saber, Jack the Ripper as Assassin, Brynhildr as Lancer, Boudica as Rider, Argonaut as Alter Ego, and Asterios as Berserker.

* AtrociousAlias: Played with regarding Bell's title. He and Lily think that Moonlit Dawn is a cool one. Hestia, who knows the hidden joke (Moon-Eyed Rabbit), couldn't help but cringe when she heard it.

* BadassCrew: The Hestia Familia's ranks are bolstered by a number of powerful Heroic Spirits who are able to each decimate a small army of normal adventurers.

* BewareTheSillyOnes: Ganesha is a {{Cloudcuckoolander}}, but he is also the head of one of the strongest Familias in Orario.

* BringIt: Hestia declares this to Apollo after seeing what happened to Emma.

* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: Although he is remembered as a clown, Argonaut was a legitimate hero who brought a ray of hope during a time of hopelessness.

* {{Irony}}: Hestia is a ClingyJealousGirl to Bell; yet after Bell summons several men in a row, she orders Bell to summon more girls so that people won't suspect she's building up a harem.

* PassingTheTorch: [[spoiler:After having fun in Bell's body for about a day, Argonaut decides to leave, saying that his time has passed, so he'll leave it to Bell to become the next great hero.]]

* PowerParasite: Emma's skill allows her to temporarily drain her fellow Familia members' powers into herself, though channeling that power puts a strain on her as well.

* RedBaron: Sigurd was known as the King of Warriors for his peerless abilities as a knight when he was alive.

* SmugSuper: Gilgamesh as usual but since he's his OlderAndWiser [[Characters/FateGrandOrderCastersGToM Caster incarnation]], it doesn't show up as much.

* TroublingUnchildlikeBehavior: Welf lampshades how wrong it is to see Jack slaughter monsters while drenched in blood and with a smile on her face.

* UnskilledButStrong: Bell's rapid growth means that his stats are far higher than someone of his skill level, but that also means that he is less experienced than other people who can match or surpass his stats.

* YouHaveGotToBeKiddingMe: EMIYA does this when Bell summons Gilgamesh.

* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul: Bell still has Liaris Freese, but due to being saved by EMIYA rather than Ais, his fixation is on becoming a hero like EMIYA or Gilgamesh than trying to stand at Ais' side.
