** A comment by Keito has Tsukune worried that [[spoiler:he might have gotten her pregnant. Keito informs him that as vastly different species, they're incapable of interbreeding]].
** The fic's premise is based around the vicious acts a human would have to commit to stay safe in a population of monsters who hate humans and view murder and rape as acceptable.
** Tsukune's survival strategy for Yokai Academy has made him too violent to live in human society, as his violence-first attitude would hurt many people and get him thrown in prison before he could hope to correct it.
** It is ridiculously tough to get a gun in Japan, even for ''organized crime'' like the yakuza. And even if Tsukune could somehow get one, it would become useless once he runs out of bullets.
