** Chapter 3 is an almost cringeworthy string of these moments. Jaune tries to apply what he read in a comic book to JPNR's situation, only for it to keep failing. First, he tries to steal clothes off an Earthling's clothesline only to get caught. Then he tries to get a job, but is rejected for lacking a resume. Thirdly, he goes to the local Salvation Army, only to be forced to run when Nora angers the receptionist by calling Christianity a cult. Lastly, they go to a police station, only to be thought pranksters. In the next chapter, they nearly get arrested for invoking Cinder as a terrorist threat before Gemstone comes through.
