[[AlternateSelf Alter-Videl]]]]), a nigh-omnipotent DimensionalTraveler determined to destroy every existing timeline and [[InTheirOwnImage replace them with a single "perfect" reality built in her own image]]. Meanwhile, the threat of [[GreaterScopeVillain Esdraelon]] lurks in the background as the Gods do everything in their power to keep it from escaping its comet prison. [[spoiler:At the end of the Phantom Enemy Arc, Orthros frees Esdraelon from its cell and sets its prison on a collision course for Earth.]]
