In order to keep the world safe, Lauren Faust called a public announcement and requested that anybody who found themselves in the body of an Element Bearer to head for UsefulNotes/NewYorkCity.

There are a few snags, though. Not only are the transformed individuals scattered across the globe, but they're each slowly succumbing to their counterparts' mental processes. Combine that with widespread fandom reacting to suddenly real cartoon characters, the issues ponies have in a hand-based world, and Discord pitching roadblocks in the way of the heroes, and you have a melting pot of crazy shenanigans and obstacles just getting everypony to New York. So, the pony population doubles every day, and Rainbow Dash has been selected by Discord to be the chronicler of his rise to power...

Best of all, it's still brand new; while the princesses and the Mane Cast are all claimed, one merely has to apply with an unclaimed pony to join in.
