The premise of the story is that Tatsumi, Sayo, and Ieyasu are alctually members of the Brotherhood of the Assassins, in the capital to deal with the Templar Order within the Empire. After Sayo and Ieyasu [[TheStationsOfTheCanon are killed by Aria]], Tatsumi is forced to work on his own to rebuild the Capital Branch of the Brotherhood, gaining the interest of Night Raid in the process.
