* PunchCatch: Knight defends Leviathan from a pissed-off Yang by grabbing her Semblance-enhanced fist without apparent effort.

* RefusalOfTheCall: While the prospect of getting any one thing he wants gives him some pause, Fate feels the game is stacked against him and doesn't want to submit to the Gods' plan. Hunter isn't quite as mad, but thinks he has the right idea, as world-shattering battles are neither his business nor his responsibility.
* SeenItAll: Fate has this attitude, having lived and died through all kinds of shit for over a thousand years. Even ''he'' doesn't know how to respond to the things he learns in the first chapter, except with anger and frustration.

* WeakButSkilled: Fate gets really annoyed that he's been placed in a death match, at the time when he's at his weakest, when even a few months earlier he would have been a force to be reckoned with at the end of a previous loop. He laments that he's got all the knowledge and experience he could ask for, but none of it will do him any good when he's as weak as regular Jaune and he's up against the likes of Knight, who are apparently in their prime.
* WeAreNotGoingThroughThatAgain: Fate has already had more than enough of being jerked around by unfathomable cosmic beings playing games, and declares his intention to sit out this conflict.
* WeAREStrugglingTogether: This is a concern that gets brought up fast once Fate calls attention to it. Though they're on the same team for the purposes of deciding the outcome of the war, only the last surviving Jaune will get rewarded with their wish. This means that unless it comes down to one good versus one evil Jaune, then allies ''will'' have to kill each other to get what they want, and theoretically they could do it at any time if they feel it won't sabotage the game for their side. Ozpin urges them to work together at least until the game is done.

* AccidentalPervert: Most of the heroes' Jaunes apparently appeared in the beds of their Anchors. Yang and CFVY immediately assume perverted things before they know more.
* TheAce: Knight is seemingly the heavy-hitter of the heroes' side, boasting extremely high physical stats as well as logic-bending RPG abilities that no one else is prepared to face. Only Leviathan in his element could potentially be more dangerous on this team.
* BlingOfWar: [[Fanfic/ForgedDestiny Knight's]] armor is depicted as such by Ruby, Understandable seeing as he [[UltimateBlacksmith probably forged it himself]].
* BrokenPedestal: Pyrrha isn't sure what to make of Fate, who is ostensibly supposed to be the same person as the guy she admires, but immediately comes off like a sarcastic and caustic asshole, and who immediately runs off to get his dick wet rather than step up when he's needed.
* CantLiveWithoutYou: The various summoned Jaunes will be out of the game if their Anchor dies, and so far it seems to be someone who was significant to them in their home stories. [[Fanfic/ForgedDestiny Knight]] is paired with Ruby, [[Fanfic/TheUnseenHunt Leviathan]] with Yang, [[Fanfic/NotThisTimeFate Fate]] with Pyrrha, [[Fanfic/OrSomethingSeries Hunter]] with Ren, [[Fanfic/ServiceWithASmile Barista]] seemingly with Velvet, and [[Fanfic/FromBeyondRWBY Ghost Jaune]] with Amber (not that it matters, as Amber is dying and the summoning was botched anyway). For Knight his much weaker partner represents a potential vulnerability, while Barista is weak enough all on his own that it'd just be easier to kill him normally.

In interests of fairness, the main combatants will all be various incarnations of this one guy. Each one is connected to a specific person, an Anchor, and if that Anchor dies then their Jaune dies as well. The side who has the last Jaune standing will be granted victory by the Gods, and the other side will be wiped out. In addition, the last Jaune will be rewarded as well: the Gods will send him back to his world, and any one wish he has for his world, they will grant it.
