After receiving harassment over a writing decision around Noelle's sexuality, Clay deleted both their Reddit account and the Comic Series page, quitting the comic. Axquirix, the other creator of the comic, then announced that [[https://www.reddit.com/r/Deltarune/comments/134f89s/death_of_alter_heaven/ the comic was cancelled entirely...]] Fortunately, Clay has [[https://www.reddit.com/r/Deltarune/comments/13axeds/message_from_surrikatunnah_now_claygoat_about_the/ stated that they plan to bring back ''Alter Heaven'']], but for the time being it's on hiatus while they're recovering from the stress caused by the situation.
