It is immediately apparent to the viewer that she seriously sells herself short and that she is actually a near-universally loved (in Germania) and nigh-unstoppable political juggernaut despite being in an inferior position to the Allied Powers.

** Tanya's trip to America has her making hefty demands in exchange for sharing computation orb technology in her continued bid to get removed from power. What she gets is (1) a demonstration of the superiority of Germanian aerial mages, (2) support for reunification with Osterry (at the same time wiping away the debts ''they'' have with the US) and (3) the foundations for a military alliance. All it cost her was sharing admittedly potent but already outdated orb tech.

power. Later, her attempts to provoke the Allied Powers to the negotiation table so she can get them to ease up on the treaty terms for Germania and secure herself a cushy exile end with her stuck in office, the Treaty of Triano ended and the Francois bloodied in her wake. ''The latter two were her two biggest campaign promises'', so vowed because she assumed they would make it impossible for her to be voted into power!
* IconicOutfit: Tanya started out wearing simple white dresses provided to her by the orphanage and her military jacket on top. She keeps the look well into her career because it's become very recognizable.
* LivingLegend: Tanya starts the story as the world (in)famous Argent Silver/Devil of the Rhine. As In the political field, she gets into politics, she wows very quickly rises to power, saves Germania from economic ruin and makes good on her promise to end the people and Treaty of Triano, while also getting a favorable deal from the politicos when she steers the country out rest of the financial mess her predecessors dragged it into. Then she gets back Allied Powers that basically leaves the Francois in the air...dirt. POV sections from other Germanians has her described as a near-mythical savior in their eyes.

* UnderestimatingBadassery: Tanya keeps doing this to herself. In keeping up with her difficulty in understanding people, she severely underestimates her own reputation as the Argent Silver and the effectiveness of modern political and marketing methods and just how much of an impact those have in getting support for the Germanian Workers Party when she takes over. She also miscalculates how significant her focus on Germania's economics are and how much that sways the people's voting (and later approval of her) when inflation is running rampant and the economy is tanking despite her adopting the stance of a warmongering revanchist specifically so she wouldn't get voted into power. When she and the 203rd end the Rhine Occupation, she has no idea how big a deal it is when General Hans Ziegler immediately follows her direct orders without running anything by Zettour or Lergen, the latter two respectively being the Minister of the Interior and the Secretary General of the Army who are supposed to be limiting her power.

Unfortunately for her, Visha takes her words aid at face value.
** Elya also found some letters to Tanya from military manufacturers, using words like "touring facilities" or "discussing the future of the nation" to hide that they really want to hire her to be a lobbyist for them. Tanya simply didn't know that they were actual job offers and Elya assumes she declined them as part of an intricate plan to take control of Germania and lead it to glory.

* EveryoneHasStandards: Tanya refuses to blame Germania's religious and ethnic minorities for the country's woes because they are voting citizens. Instead, she focuses people's ire on the Francois.
* GivingRadioToTheRomans: Tanya notes that she's not in the best time period for this as she's been isekai'd to a time too developed for her to be able to introduce anything that can introduce another industrial revolution or get rich and she's not really knowledgeable of any good future tech that can be developed in her situation.
** That said, she does introduce 21st century marketing and political campaigning techniques and is getting R&D done on the assault rifle.

** She also joins the Germanian Workers Party because it's illegal for her to be directly employed by the government, but there's nothing that says she can't join a political party.
* OccupiersOutOfOurCountry: In a mirror to [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occupation_of_the_Ruhr the Occupation of the Ruhr]], the Francois occupy the Rhine Industrial Area when Tanya stops payments to both fix Germania's ailing economy and to draw the Francois to the negotiating table to try to wring better terms. After getting her hands on the Type 95 again, she utterly destroys the occupying forces.
* ThePurge: The leaders of Germania's communist party are either arrested for their ties to the Rus or disappeared by Elya.
* SecretPolice: Elya and her former intelligence colleagues join the Germanian Workers party as this.
