** "Somebody to Lean On" gives each member of the Noceda-Clawthorne family their own plots on the anniversary of when Eda left her family; Luz vents to Amity about her parents splitting up [[spoiler:and decides to confront her Owl Beast]], Eda goes to talk with Camila about their relationship, and King tries to [[spoiler:make peace with learning he's a Titan.]]

Tired of living up to her family name, Amity ends up chasing Owlbert through the portal to the demon realm and meets Eda. After one adventure, Amity seizes the opportunity to run away from home and start a new and (kinda) normal life in the Boiling Isles as a witch. In addition, the story occassionally chronicles the misadventures of Vee the Basilisk on Earth. Each chapter adapts an episode of the show, with some events reordered, combined or skipped over completely with the plots of those episodes being altered in some way. Also expect a few intermissions as a break from the main storyline. Following the completion of Season 2, the author has decided to make their own Season 3 to continue the story since the actual season has yet to air.
