* AmicableExes: Eda and Camila met while Camila was still in school, dating for years and raising Luz until [[spoiler:she turned into the owl beast at age six]]. This led to Eda leaving them and spending 5 years trying to find who cursed her, causing Camila to move on. [[spoiler:It eventually gets {{averted}} since they still have feelings for each other and decide to start their relationship over from scratch, wanting to be with the people they've become rather than loving the people they used to be.]]
* AmoralAttorney: Tibbles has a brother, Pibbles, who is just this. While he acknowledges that Eda is of [[spoiler:her right mind despite being in her owl beast form]], he cheerfully prepares to call in “Demon Control” when Eda objects to her stuff being gotten rid of, citing that, by the standards of the law, she is considered a wild animal.

** Vee stars as the HeroOfAnotherStory in the chapters set on Earth. [[spoiler:She replaces the twins as main characters in Season 2B now that ''she's'' the one stuck in the demon realm trying to return to Earth, although it's downplayed since she ends up falling into the background for most of it.]]

* TheAtoner: Lilith has been working hard to make up for everything she's done because every little thing she does brings her a little closer to making up for [[spoiler:giving Luz her curse]] as well as Vee's forced existence. [[spoiler:She refuses to accept Vee's thanks for showing her the basilisks in the past since she still owes her so much.]]

** Season 2A has [[spoiler:Edric and Emira finally returning home to the human realm, Amity and Clara apologizing to each other and starting over as friends and Jacob realizing he was wrong about witches and demons and deciding to stay in the demon realm. Unfortunately, Hunter betrays the Owl House residents in order to claim the portal and its key after sending the Blight twins, Clara, and the cabin 7 trio back, intentionally stranding Vee so he can capture her later: this leads Luz to develop a hatred towards him, not to mention he knows Camila's leading the CATT's now. But to keep Vee out of his clutches, Camila agrees to take her in.]]

** Luz gushes upon seeing [[spoiler:her owl beast (which is only a baby)]] when she meets it. [[spoiler:After bonding with it, her owlet form]] is described as adorable, with Amity's reaction to seeing it for the first time resulting in a CutenessOverload.

** The interludes set in the human realm showcase Vee during her time with Clara and the cabin seven trio.

** Willow is chosen to fight Grometheus the Fear Bringer and doesn't switch out with anyone, defeating it single-handedly.

** After unlocking her harpy mode, Eda stays in it so she can have a body again and the Owl Beast within her can see the world rather than being trapped in her.

** Several Hexside students protest the Coven Day Parade, which doesn't have many people in attendance due to lack of interest in joining covens. Luz chooses to ignore Kikimora's panicky state but when she decides to help Kiki, her problems get solved by someone else, and Emperor Belos announces Raine as the new Bard Coven Head at the end of the parade, with Steve saying that Scooter Crane got killed so it could happen.
** Luz sits out talking to Philip Wittebane since she can't handle being around Lilith: instead, she carves her palisman with Eda and Dell at her grandparents' home while Amity and [[spoiler:Vee]] go instead. And because of [[spoiler:Vee realizing Philip smells like Belos' magic]], Luz learns Belos is human sooner.

** Lilith has one InUniverse. [[spoiler:During their duel at the Emperor's Castle, Eda remarks that "I know we don’t always get along, but we need to work together on this." Lilith initially believes that Eda is referring to the two sisters and wants to make amends... only for Eda to reveal that she's talking to the Owl Beast and [[TakingYouWithMe asks it to kill Lilith as soon as Eda permanently transforms]].]]

** Lilith still journeys into the past with her fellow human to meet Philip Wittebane, he learns the light glyph because of said human, backstabs them and is given swift payback but makes off with the Collector's mirror. Luz soon discovers that Philip is Belos before he became emperor.

** [[spoiler:The Coven Heads' attempt to travel into Belos' mind is interfered with by Hunter, who along with our human protagonist gets sent instead. Hunter ends up learning the truth about Belos, his being a grimwalker and defies him while our human hero figures out the purpose of the Day of Unity. It takes a return spell powered by Titan's Blood to bring them back.]]

** Lilith learns [[spoiler:Luz inherited Eda's curse]] during their WizardDuel in "Pain of a Sorceress", as her sister didn't want her to know out of fear that Luz would be taken away for the sake of [[spoiler:finding a cure or being forced into the Emperor's Coven to do so]].

** Amity confesses her problems with her family to [[spoiler:Hunter and since they're in Belos' mind, he learns them too. Hunter posting the video of Belos' origins which recorded this along with it means everyone on the Isles knows now.]]

** Luz blames herself for [[spoiler:Hunter backstabbing everyone and taking the portal]], saying if she wasn't so trusting, it never would've happened. Amity comforts and tells her to never feel bad about wanting to help someone in need because that's part of who she is.

** Amity's placed in the oracle track when she starts attending Hexside and she notes how dangerous it'd be if Odalia had access to their techniques. Odalia is a member of the oracle coven in the show.

** "Chapter 32: Any Sport in a Labyrinth" combines "[[Recap/TheOwlHouseS2E13AnySportInAStorm Any Sport in a Storm]]" and "[[Recap/TheOwlHouseS2E18LabyrinthRunners Labyrinth Runners]]" with a touch of "[[Recap/TheOwlHouseS2E17EdgeOfTheWorld Edge of the World]]": Adrian Graye Vernworth helps Hunter get coven recruits from Hexside by giving him a concealment stone to hide his identity. At the same time, Luz, Eda, King and Camila set off for Titan Trapper Island for a week after getting King's letter, leaving Amity [[spoiler:and Vee]] under Hooty's care and she bonds with Willow and Gus while Willow creates her flyer derby team, of which Hunter joins as Caleb Jasper Bloodwilliams.

* TheRedMage: Viney, Jerbo and Barcus study the same dual-tracks as in canon while Amity takes Luz's place as Hexside's first all-track student studying everything (she studies everything because she wants to see them all before making her final choices) except for Bard.

* TheReveal: As [[spoiler:Clara and Dahlia]] reveal to [[spoiler:Vee]] in "Elsewho and Elsewhy", Edric and Emira have been staying in Vee's cabin instead of going home after [[spoiler:getting back to the human realm]] as the cabin seven group told them about their parents locking Vee in a room with barred windows when she was disguised as Amity.

* SecretKeeper: In the beginning, only Eda, Camila, King and Hooty know about Luz [[spoiler:being cursed]]. Amity learns it after [[spoiler:witnessing a transformation for herself]], Edric and Emira are informed about it [[spoiler:after getting stuck in the Demon Realm]], and Luz tells Willow and Gus herself after returning to school.

* TheThingThatWouldNotLeave: Played with. [[spoiler:Edric and Emira are stuck in the demon realm since Amity tossed the portal key into the human realm and they do nothing to contribute to the Owl House's finances in the first week and a half they stay there. And when they do contribute, they fail miserably. They make up for it by getting enough money to end those concerns.]]

* ThereAreNoRules: Eda tries to help Amity loosen up in one chapter by saying that this is the one rule of the Bad Girl Coven. Unfortunately, [[GoneHorriblyRight this backfires for Eda]] as over the next few days, Amity [[LazyBum slacks off on her chores in favor of watching crystal ball]], [[ThePigpen forgoes bathing entirely while acting like a total slob]], [[KidsRaidingTheWineCabinet and eventually got sick from drinking an entire bottle of Eda's apple blood]].
