* SeasonFluidity: Compared to the original, the series tends to flip-flop between Fluid and Dammed. While it does have a lot of the same episodic elements of the original, the series is far more serialized with more tighter continuity than in the original (ex: Chris used to work as a paperboy, but now works at Quahog Mini-Mart and all times where he seems jobless are rewritten, Peter returns to an old job of his and keeps it, and {{AgelessBirthdayEpisode|s}} are rewritten to have the explain what age the character is now) but still favors the episodic route. In more recent seasons (Season 22), they more work on a mixture of more serialized stories in form of story arcs and overaching events while still having some episodic stories for breathily.
