Aurelie Manor, a large, castle-esque manor buried in the hills of France, home to the widowed recluse, Lady Aurelie Côté, a rich woman with a face hidden to the world. Lady Aurelie is a well renowned woman in the highest peaks of the world, especially one Hope's Peak Academy, having served on the academy staff many years ago.
Now, Lady Côté has allegedly passed away, a last will being the only remnants of her life. In said will, an invitation, inviting the current class of Hope's Peak Academy to a final banquet & will reading, as an act of distributing wealth to the future pillars of hope. Only, upon arrival, sinister tones fill the air, an unbecoming air of impending doom spreading throughout the large manor.

Just like the franchise, it's based on, the plot revolves around 17 students trapped in a mutual killing game, the prize for surviving being the inheritance of the wealthy woman split between 5 of the survivors.

* BodyOfTheWeek: Again, considering the franchise it's based on. The only way to escape is committing a perfect murder and getting away with it. Twice.

* InvoluntaryBattleToTheDeath: The entire point of the game.
* PublicExecution: The fate of anyone who fails to get away with murder.
