'' Duncan’s Campaign'' is a Dungeons and Dragons campaign started by Duncan Pegram and has been running since late 2019 and will end in late 2020.
''Duncan’s Campaign'' is not popular, due to it merely being a Dungeons and Dragons campaign between 5-8 friends and none of the cast posting any content or art from it online. However, this tropes page was made solely due to Duncan himself (and an honorary member) enjoying reading TV Tropes.
——
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: Abyssius drove Carrion to this, turning him into the Necrodancer
* CastFullOfGay: Knowing the creators and spectators of the campaign, it only makes sense that the campaign would include a diverse cast of characters, including those of diverse sexualities relecting on some of their own.
* ChekhovsGun: In the description of the abandoned throne in Flare’s throne room, the DM mentions that a spider is building a web on it. The party only remembered that Druids can Wild Shape after Rosanne took the Crown.
* DidYouJustRomanceCthulu: Happens to Abyssius just after the defeat of the Necrodancer, courtesy of Sirene.
* FailedASpotCheck: Happened to the party while they were adventuring through a space themed area. The group found a puzzle in which they had to choose the gem that represented the highest temperature, between a sapphire, ruby, and topaz. The group didn’t think of stars, instead going to elements, resulting in massive psychic damage heading their way.
* {{Macguffin}}: The party spends most of early on in the campaign chasing these, in the form of magic items. Justified, in that Silas sees these items as ways to even out a fight against Flare.
* MadScientist: Lavalysk is this in universe. Silas points out that he’s always testing new, likely dangerous inventions, and that the safety of the group depends on what he wants to test out that day.
* PlayingWithFire: The entirety of Flare is this. Also Montr’l
* SmartPeopleSpeakTheQueensEnglish: Carrion has a British accent, and acts as the brains of the group.
* SquishyWizard: Carrion is this in spades, having only 15 health at Level 5
