It starts off with English Teenage Geeks Dave, Jeff and Zoe, who are forced (well, Dave is forced; Jeff and Zoe just tag along to keep him company) by Dave's parent's to go on a weekend camping trip to the country with his senile Grandfather. Unbeknownst to them, he's actually a 1200-year-old {{Highlander}}-style Immortal Anglo-Saxon Wizard called Gaeratric, who has organised the trip as a pretence for meeting up with his old friend, the Immortal Samurai Toho. Whilst working on their D&D Characters in the tent, the Teens find Gaeratric's Wand under his duvet and, not knowing it's real, start playing around with it, until a spark shoots out the end and hits both Dave's D&D Dice and Jeff's Character Sheet they were resting on.
