Susan Lillian Townsend (nee Johnstone, April 2, 1946-April 10, 2014) was an English writer and humorist best known for the ''Literature/AdrianMole'' book series.
She was married to Keith Townsend and Colin Broadway and she had four children.
After suffering from health problems in her later years, including diabetes and blindness, she died in 2014 after suffering a stroke at the age of 68.
