Cleavon Jake Little (June 1, 1939 – October 22, 1992) was an American actor. His portrayal of Sheriff Bart in Creator/MelBrooks’s ''Film/BlazingSaddles'' was his calling card from its release in 1974 until his death from colon cancer in 1992 (and arguably beyond.) He was also known for ''Film/VanishingPoint'' and ''Film/FletchLives''.
