''Superman: Red and Blue'' is a Creator/DCComics AnthologyComic series published in 2021. In a similar vein to ''ComicBook/BatmanBlackAndWhite'', each issue is an anthology of various eight-ten page stories from a variety of different writers and artists featuring ComicBook/{{Superman}} and other characters from his world in his signature colors of red and blue. As an anthology, each story featured ranges greatly in terms of continuity, setting, tone, and genre.

* SequelEpisode: Creator/JohnRidley's untitled story in issue #1 is a sequel to a pre-Crisis ''World's Finest'' storyline from 1970[[note]]#192-193 for reference[[/note]].

* CerebusRetcon: John Ridley's story that revisits ''World's Finest'' #192-193 implies [[spoiler:that Clark ws raped during his time as a prisoner.]]

* ImpliedRape: Creator/JohnRidley's story from issue 1 that revisited ''World's Finest'' #192-193 implied that Clark was sexually assaulted during his time as a prisoner.
* RapeAsDrama: John Ridley's untitled story that revisited ''World's Finest'' #192-193 implies that during his time as a prisoner of Koslov that Clark was sexually assaulted.

* RetiredMonster: Colonel Koslov, the head of the SecretPolice in [[{{Ruritania}} Lubania]] became this in the post-[[TheGreatPoliticsMessUp Fall of Communism world]]. When Clark visits him in the modern time of the story, he has become a sucessful businessman and brushes off questions about his actions during the previous regime.

* BatmanInMyBasement: "The Boy Who Saved Superman" sees an early-in-his-career Supes get K.O'd by a rampaging alien monster, leading to a young fan of his desperately trying to get the unconscious Superman to safety as the building around them collapses.

* DeliberatelyMonochrome: "Human Colors" is set almost entirely in black and white as a fifth-dimensional imp[[note]][[NotMeThisTime Not Mxyzptlk this time]].[[/note]] has stolen the world's colors.

* CommieLand: One story takes place in a fictional Eastern European nation called Lubania, that used to an oppressive Soviet satellite state before the fall of Communism.

* ArtificialLimbs: The titular boy in the story "The Boy Who Saved Superman" ends up losing his arm because of it and eventually gets a high-tech artificial limb from S.T.A.R. labs
