* WagTheDirector: In-universe, Maisie tries to step in when the showrunners take things too far. After they propose her new costume be a skimpy bikini get-up they claim is comics accurate, Maisie reminds them said costume appeared in one issue during a dream sequence. She also points out, as many of the writers have kids who watch the show, would any of ''them'' want to see their kids dressing like Red Rogue if Red Rogue wore a string bikini and pouches?

* DownerEnding: [[spoiler:Maisie survives, but her best friend and her husband are both dead. People are writing empty articles about how Maisie's "the hero we didn't know we deserved," and the fans are still shown to be a bunch of rabid shitheads who can't refrain from dehumanizing her every chance they get. It's even shown there are fans of ''Dodge'' exclaiming Maisie needs to watch her back. Dodge and Yuri are dead, and Hayley Kyle are in jail. Slink is missing, while Kyle's now more of a LoonyFan than ever and has become obsessed with getting Maisie to notice him. Oh, and Maisie's pregnant with people speculating whether or not her husband was the father.]]

* EntitledBastard: Dodge's group eventually decides Maisie needs to pay for ruining "their" Red Rogue, and feel she doesn't deserve to own ''Red Rogue Down'' #1.
* ExecutiveMeddling: In-universe, the real cause of ''Red Rogue's'' problems are the showrunners not really caring about the source material, not being concerned because they figure people will watch anyway even if it's just to complain.

* ShowWithAShow: ''Red Rogue'' is a TV adaption of a comic book character of the same name, and the plot is driven by fans growing increasingly unhappy with the show. In particular, the comic ''Red Rogue Down'' is viewed as a masterpiece by the fandom. The fact Maisie Wade managed to get the only signed first issue in the world ''and'' the show gets cancelled before it could adapt this storyline is what eventually sets Dodge's group on the path for "revenge."

* BrokenBird: Maisie's genuinely the biggest Red Rogue fan out there, and considered playing the character to be a dream come true. Then came years of toxic fans ripping her apart and getting blamed for ''Red Rogue's'' problems. Maisie's so worn out she views herself as being trapped in her role and eventually quits the show after eight seasons worth of abuse.

* LoonyFan: Oh so very much. Dodge, Hayley, and Yuri are all absolutely convinced that Maisie Wade's deliberately trying to ruin Red Rogue and refuse to listen to anyone arguing to the contrary. Dodge is the worst of the group, violently screaming about how he'll murder someone if the show doesn't adapt the ''Red Rogue'' comics properly. [[spoiler:He's not bluffing.]]

''Rogues' Gallery'' is a 2022 comic book series published by Creator/ImageComics, written by Hannah Rose May, Declan Shalvey, and pencilled by Justin Mason.

''Red Rogue'' is a popular comic book series that's been adapted into a TV show running for eight seasons. However, its so-called fans are vocally unhappy about the show not sticking closer to the source material for their tastes. The person who gets the brunt of their scorn is actress Maisie Wade, whom they believe is personally responsible for ''Red Rogue's'' SeasonalRot. Tensions are already high when Maisie acquires the only signed, first printing edition of ''Red Rogue Down'' #1 available, but then she announces she's leaving the show. Then the show gets cancelled.

Having decided to take matters into their own hands, a group of fans plan to rob Maisie's home while dressed as Red Rogue's villains. Their leader, however, has darker ideas in mind and Maisie is forced to fight for her life.

!!Rogues' Gallery provides examples of:

* BuryYourGays: [[spoiler:Joey, Maisie's assistant and best friend, is shot and strung up in Maisie's house after he recognizes Dodge as "Michael."]]
