Amidst all this, [=FBI=] agent Ellie Tewksberry is in the middle of a family crisis. Her son, Byron, has run away to be with his father, Witherspoon Tewksberry. He's decided he's going to the North Pole, since Witherspoon abandoned the family to become a [[ChristmasElves Christmas Elf]]. When he gets there, though, he finds himself at the mercy of the not-so-jolly-anymore old elf.

Mrs. Claus has died in a tragic toy accident, and SantaClaus [[{{Understatement}} didn't take it well]]. In fact, he took it so [=NOT=] well that [[FaceHeelTurn he's decided he's through being a jolly old elf]]. So, the next time he comes to town, he isn't bringing presents to all the good little boys and girls. Heck, he isn't bringing coal to all the naughty little boys and girls either. This time, Santa's come to take all the children of the world away.
