* RelationshipUpgrade: Over the course of the original series, Jeremy, Lendo, Ichi-kun and Asrial go from a LoveDodecahedron to two married couples; Jeremy and Arial, and Lendo and Ichi-kun.

* DefrostingIceQueen: Ichi initially as she only wanted marry Jeremy to become leader of her ninja clan. But the more she comes to know Jeremy the more she seem genuinely willing to marry him. [[spoiler: Ultimately it doesn't happen and she marries Lendo.]]

* BeastMan: Salusians' natural form is probably best described as "anthropomorphic skunk." Their muzzle is less pronounced than an actual skunk's muzzle, and they have hands and platigrade feet, but they otherwise greatly resemble human-sized striped skunks. [[spoiler: When humans are transformed into this form, they, much like Salusians, retain one marker of their species - in this case, a lack of a tail.]]

* TestosteronePoisoning: Akaru, an island native who doesn't know anything about modern civilization and largely judges everything on how manly it is.

* TimeyWimeyBall: Mita Celande has a time machine, and some of her temporal doings (such as taking Mimi Masters and Jeremy back to when the Feeple line was cursed by Mimi's ancestor) start throwing monkey wrenches in how things are to play out. She eventually has to leave due to a TemporalParadox (namely, that her ancestors [[spoiler: Jeremy and Ichi-kun]] were no longer going to have children together) potentially negating her existence.

* Original series (Vol 1-9). Ran for 100 issues. 1987 to November, 2002 (Yes, ''fifteen years''). The first bulk is mostly that of Jeremy's adventures with a few stories focused on side characters. Later on most of the stories focused on Ricky and his own entourage of girls (In this case Lendo's step-sister Yumei, Superhero Heidi, and a Salusian Princess with a purchased title, Solora). This is considered Vol 2 of the series. There is also the mini series "Quagmire USA".

There was an attempt at a revival series in June 2014 which saw a new alien race calling themselves the "Kuroni" have possessed the people of Quagmire and plan to enslave all of Earth. Anne Feeple and Prof Steamhead are the only two unaffected and are forced to jump to an alternate dimension to find means to defeat them. Thus setting this series in a new world. However there was no follow up past the 176th issue and the only thing of Ninja High School since then was "Super Ninja High School", a one-off that had the characters dealing with [[{{Expy}} expies]] of video game characters. At the current the series is in hiatus.

[[spoiler: For the former, Tetsuo, being the brat he is, tricks Yumei into marrying a Ricky-bot rather then her true love despite doing all she can defeat him and it's legally binding so she can't get out of it unless he gives the say so (though later in Shidoshi, after Tetsuo undergoes major CharacterDevelopment, he gives her the remote to self-destruct the bot and annul the marriage). For the latter, Yuudai dies without having his final battle with Ricky who informs him the original Red Ninja is still alive though Ricky at the least gives him an honorable funeral. Ricky's group take on the Elder Stars and have to settle for just bankrupting them then defeating them in combat, though do get the victory of not allowing them to claim the Red Ninja title (long story short, a lot of family complications as Anna is still technically part of the ninja clan the Elder Stars come from and by right still holds the title. Since she's in another world, that title lands on Ricky and the Stars have to defeat him to reclaim it regardless if the Elder Star don't consider them a true ninja clan). Tetsuo can't marry his true love, Nanashi, due to a arrange managed he couldn't get out of. So he puts on a facade of going back to his overly ambitious ways. However we see he still pines for her despite having everything he wants, but live on content that she's safe and ultimately erasing all traces of her so the Elder Stars can't go after her anymore. After some time passes and the protagonists have grown up, Ricky finds the original Red Ninja and engages in combat with him to both dismantle the Elder Star and their corrupt ninja governing, as well as defeat him on Yuudai's behalf. The story ending just as they rush each other.]]

* WhatKindOfLamePowerIsHeartAnyway: This is actually Jeremy's shining trait in the first series. Despite being surround by supernaturals and extraterrestrials, he can calm a situation simply by being himself and attempting to talk it down. Course if need be he will fight if he has to but the former is his true "power".

* ShaggyDogStory: Lendo and the neighboring town's CaptainErsatz of [[Franchise/ArchieComics Veronica Lodge]] attempt to have a contest to see who can sell the most ice cream at a fair, which quickly devolves into an UltimateShowdownOfUltimateDestiny of nearly every superhero, sentai team, or similar character from both Japan and the U.S. The ending? [[spoiler: The CaptainErsatz for Jughead Jones eats all the ice cream of both parties without paying.]]

''Ninja High School'' is a manga-inspired comic book series created, written, and illustrated by Ben Dunn, and currently published by Creator/AntarcticPress. While it was originally intended as a parodic mini-series, the comic became so popular that it became a full series, currently totalling over 160 issues and many miniseries and special issues. The annual specials ''Ninja High School Yearbook'' and ''Ninja High School Swimsuit Edition'' [[OfficialFanSubmittedContent are entirely composed of art and stories created and contributed by fans]].

* CityOfWeirdos: Quagmire as well - despite it being much smaller than many other examples.

Anne Feeple and Prof Steamhead are the only two unaffected and are forced to jump to an alternate dimension to find means to defeat them. Thus setting this series in a new world.

The story centers on [[UnluckyEverydude Jeremy Feeple]], [[OrdinaryHighSchoolStudent a student at Quagmire High]], who soon encounters a beautiful female [[{{NINJA}} ninja]] named Itchy Koo (real name Ichikun Ichinohei) and an alien princess named Asrial -- [[ArrangedMarriage who have both been ordered to marry him]]. The earlier stories focus on [[UnwantedHarem the girls' comedic attempts to marry this seemingly plain, ordinary high school boy]]. As the story progressed, backstories were given to the core characters, and [[LoadsAndLoadsOfCharacters an extensive supporting cast]] developed. While early stories focused mainly on slapstick, [[CerebusSyndrome later story arcs have become more serious]], delving into [[WhatDoYouMeanItsNotForKids murder, drugs, and homosexuality]].

Battlefield Press has recently launched a roleplaying game for the series.

* DisappearedDad: Jermey's, subverted as he finds out his dad is {{Trapped In Another World}}, a mouse based one, highly ironic in that Mr. Feeple's profession is a ''rat exterminator''. What's more, he is now the ''king'' of the land and can't return to the human one as the mouse people don't have the technology to do so without fatal side effects.

* HappilyAdopted: Anna Feeple (previously Anna Ichinohei), who was brought into the Ichinohei clan after her mother was killed while helping Kudasai during the second World War. In fact, one of the conditions that Kudasai (her adopted father) put on granting permission for her to marry Bob Feeple was that their first-born son would marry the first-born daughter of Kudasai's biological son, so that Anna could finally have a blood relation to the Kudasai clan.

* {{Shout Out}}: Plenty, in fact the comic pretty much runs on this. In the picture above, Asrial is pretty much wearing the [[Anime/MobileSuitGundamZZ Gundam Double Zeta]]

* UnsoundEffect

The series contains {{Lawyer Friendly Cameo}}s and {{Captain Ersatz}}es of characters from other media, usually but not always Japanese; these included ''KamenRider'', ''PowerRangers[=/=]SuperSentai'', ''Franchise/HarryPotter'', ''Franchise/{{Superman}}'', ''WesternAnimation/ThePowerpuffGirls'', ''Franchise/{{Terminator}}'', ''VideoGame/NinjaGaiden'', ''Franchise/{{Transformers}}'', ''Anime/NadiaTheSecretOfBlueWater'', ''Manga/UruseiYatsura'' the ''Franchise/{{Gundam}}'' series and ''especially'' ''Manga/RanmaOneHalf'' (seriously looking at the early chapters, you'd be forgiven for thinking this whole series was an out and out parody of it).

** Even more frequent are references to Salusians of imperial birth ("It's simple for...", "Your strength is no match for...", and so on).

However, he was denounced as being Jewish (due to a grandparent), and his fiancee publicly repudiated him, saying that "Love is no longer possible." Receives a MeaningfulEcho later, when she privately tells him that she'll elope with him to another country, but he repeats the line to her and commits to leaving Germany alone... while hiding his tears and committing his life [[ForScience to science]].

* McNinja: Anna Feeple and both of her sons, although Jeremy doesn't show it off nearly as much. [[JustifiedTrope Justified]] when Jeremy reads Kudasai's diary - Anna was adopted into the Ichinohei clan after her mother was killed trying to help Kudasai during WorldWarII. She remains part of the clan and has taught both of her sons some skills, although Ricky takes to it more readily.
