[[CrazyJealousGuy On the male side]] there is Prince Diamond and Ali both clingy around Usagi and also Umino acts like this in regards to Naru.
** In Usagi's case, it's less about being super obsessive and more about her own immaturity and childishness, specially compared to Mamoru who takes stuff in stride. Also, it's kinda zig-zagging: on one episode she was VERY jealous of Rei when Mamoru had to spend some days in the Hikawa shrine since his apartment was under repairs, but on another she completely dismissed Chibi-Usa's claims and distress over Mamoru's kouhai Saori who had a HUGE crush on him.

* ''Anime/KazeNoShojoEmily'': A platonic ([[IncestSubtext or is it?]]) example between Eileen Kent and her son Teddy. She is visibly angry when Teddy makes new friends, and doesn't hide her contempt for his classmates Emily and Ilse. She even physically restrains him from seeing them. It's even worse in the [[Literature/EmilyOfNewMoon original novel]] by Creator/LMMontogomery where Eileen poisoned his dog, because she felt like Teddy loved it more than he loved her.

* Shirley Fenette from ''Anime/CodeGeass''. Too sweet a character to entirely fit this trope: she's more anxiously fretful than jealously clingy — although she does get irked at Lelouch when he hangs up on her. (In his defense, he's usually hanging up on her because his life is in jeopardy at the time. Not that she'd have any way of knowing that.) Nevertheless, she spends an extraordinary amount of her time and energy worrying about him, much of it specifically wondering if he likes some other girl more than her. In the aftermath of the Battle of Narita (which at the time strikes her as remote), her concern for Lelouch's whereabouts above all else is played for laughs — [[MoodWhiplash until suddenly it so isn't]].

* Takamiya Rina from ''Manga/KaitouSaintTail'' becomes so possessive that she ruthlessly blackmails, gossips and overrides commands, pulling the dirtiest tricks she can think of to get her rival out of the way. On one occasion, she even aims a rocket launcher into a room full of priceless artifacts with both rival and boy inside.

** Casca was initially born from this trope, after Griffith in [[KnightInShiningArmour his shining armour]] saved her from being raped by nobleman, Casca unashamedly worshiped him and was left disheartened that he never truly returned her affections. So when Casca heard Griffith openly say "I want you" to then newcomer Guts, Casca was stricken with jealousy and was vicious and cold towards Guts for three years straight, even punching him down at one point and crying asking "Why did it have to be you?". Casca especially is dismayed over Griffith risking his life to save/protect Guts at all costs, leading to her declaring that she didn't care what happened to Guts so long as he didn't ruin Griffith's dream.

** [[spoiler:Her idea of loving someone is to discard everything and everyone, even friends and family, for the sake of being with another. Kiku, however, tends to [[TheCorrupter corrupt her lovers]] into doing so and [[ManipulativeBitch manipulating them into thinking they did it willingly]], Mahiru being the latest among [[ReallyGetsAround countless other men]] who fell prey to her wiles. While discussing love with Yamori, it quickly becomes clear that Kiku will absolutely not yield on this point and that she's unable to see anything else as love.]]

* Nazuna in ''Manga/CallOfTheNight'' displays strong signs of this trope whenever another vampire tries to make a move on Yamori.
** When [[SerialHomewrecker Kabura]] starts flirting with him, offering to have fun when Nazuna isn't around ([[RefugeInAudacity and right in front of Nazuna, to boot]]), she grabs Kabura's wrist and coldly threatens to kill her if she doesn't take her "filthy hands" off ''her'' prey.
** She later plants a kiss on Yamori while the other vampires are watching, as a way to mark her territory.
** A few nights later, [[TheGlomp when Seri tries to glomp Yamori]], [[DynamicEntry Nazuna flies in, knees her in the face]] and [[PunchedAcrossTheRoom sends her flying]] into a signpost [[AmusingInjuries head-first]]; she makes up an excuse at first that she was trying to protect Yamori, only to immediately admit that she just found Seri's face annoying.
** Nazuna is less than amused when she learns that Yamori let Akiyama suck his blood in order to heal from his injuries, and remains upset even after Yamori tells everyone that it's fine.

As Yamada is smiling at him after a test, Chii comments on how popular he must be with girls (After hearing that he got a bunch of chocolate on Valentine's day, not knowing it's all from Yamada). Yamada, [[TheUnsmile still smiling]], slowly opens her eyes and angrily stares down a terrified Ichikawa at his desk.

** On the other side of the coin, we have [[spoiler:Tadano's first love, Kawai. While she rejected him in the past to help him mature, Kawai was fully anticipating he would still be waiting for her when she felt he was ready and did ''not'' take it well when she discovers him [[DidntSeeThatComing dating Komi]]. After a few talks and interactions, Kawai eventually befriends her former love rival, though she is still hell-bent on being with Tadano (even if she has to [[ScrewTheRulesIMakeThem become Prime Minister]] and [[MarryThemAll legalize polygamy]] to make it happen)]].

* Noelle Silva from ''Manga/BlackClover''. [[Tsundere Although she denies her feelings for Asta]], she gets jealous when Mimosa starts developing romantic feelings for Asta herself. She follows Asta to the mixer, going as far as working as a maid in the restaurant in order to watch him. She even follows him all the way to Nairn when he visits Rebecca. [[spoiler:When Rebecca kisses Asta on the cheek as thanks for saving her siblings, Noelle's upset to say the least.]]
