* MacrossMissileMassacre: Invoked by her legendary module, which gives her a third airstrike slot on a reduced reload time. As a result, a division of three Gouden Leeuw's all mounting this module can absolutely annihilate a ship (and/or burn it to a crisp in short order) with well-aimed and well-timed strikes.

Dutch tech tree consists of stealthy and sturdy ships, that heavily rely on their special weapon - [[DeathFromAbove Airstrike]]. They can call a squad of planes to drop parachute-descending HE bombs on the marked area. However, it's impossible to reroute them if player's initial aim was off. They also has Hydroacoustic Search and good AA, with stronger Sector Reinforcement. However, their main battery is rather weak, and has bad accuracy and range. Their high-tier cruisers also suffer from prolonged fire and flooding duration.

!Tromp
Tier X Premium Dutch Destroyer. ''Tromp'' was a light cruiser, built for Royal Netherlands Navy in 1936-1938. During WWII she operated in Dutch East Indies, after which returned to Netherlands, served in combat capacity until 1955, and as a trainig ship until 1969. In the game ''Tromp'' is classified as a destroyer,

* DeathFromAbove: ''Tromp'', much like tech-line cruisers, has an Airstrike. The main difference between them is that ''Tromp's'' version drops much more bombs, at the cost of lower damage and penetration.
* MightyGlacier: This ship is positively leisurely. With 33,5 knots of speed and less-than-great acceleration dynamic, she's one of the slowest destroyers on her Tier, and can be outrun by some ''battleships''. She compensates for it with her Airstrike, which significantly raises her DPM.

to:

Tier I Dutch CruiserCruiser. ''Van Kinsbergen'' was a sloop, built for Royal Netherlands Navy and comissioned in 1939. She served throughout WWII under British and American command, and was decommissioned in 1959. The ship is notable for her demonstration of 40mm Bofors guns to the Americans, who were so impressed, they decided to use the system for themselves.
* StarterEquipment: She's automatically added to your port as you load the game for the first time.

Tier II Dutch Cruiser

to:

Tier II Dutch CruiserCruiser. ''Gelderland''-class was the second series of ''Holland''-class protected cruisers, of which the first was laid down in 1895. Two out of six ships were decommissioned in 1913, and the rest were modernised and served throughout WWI. ''Gelderland'' was turned into a training ship, eventually captured by the Germans and finally sunk in WWII.

Tier III Dutch Cruiser

to:

Tier III Dutch CruiserCruiser. ''Java'' was a class of two light cruisers, laid down in 1916. By the end of the war they were already outdated, but nonetheless, they served up until WWII, where ''Java'' herself was sunk in the Battle of the Java Sea, while ''Sumatra'' was scuttled as a part of the operation Overlord.

Tier IV Dutch Cruiser

to:

Tier IV Dutch CruiserCruiser. Built in order to help two ''Java''-class cruisers in protection of the Dutch Indies, ''De Ruyter'' was designed with as much cost-cutting as possible. As such, she was underpowered compared to light cruisers of other countries. Eventually, she was sunk in the disastrous Battle of the Java Sea.

Tier VI Dutch CruiserCruiser. She's an early draft of the ''De Zeven Provinciën'' class, and is the first ship in the line to get the Airstrike.

Tier VII Dutch Cruiser

Dutch Cruiser line starts off as Light Cruisers, but at Tier VIII suddenly turn into Heavy Cruisers with completly different gameplay. They, however, share their special weapon - airstrike. Starting with Tier VI all Dutch cruisers can call up to two squads of special bombers, that drop parachute-descending HE bombs on the marked area. Unlike carrier squads, airstrike doesn't require direct player control, but it's impossible to change the direction of the strike if player's initial aim was off.
