'''Role: Sniper Medium Tank'''
A World War II prototype tank design made in conjunction with the Chi-To and the Ho-Ri tank destroyer designs by Imperial Japan in response to a need for for vehicles with 57mm or higher due to the results of tank battles between Germany and the Soviet Union. The Chi-Ri was to be armed with a 75mm autoloading cannon. Several prototypes were created and production was approved and started, but shutdown before completion soon after with the end of the war. All models were eventually scrapped, including a single "Plan II" prototype with its 75mm cannon removed that was captured by U.S. forces and sent to the States for study.

Added DiffLines:

* CriticalHitClass: The primary strategy of the Chi-Ri, especially with its autoloading 75mm gun, by trying to inflict multiple critical hits in its burst before retreating behind cover to reload and repeat the process.
* DeathOfAThousandCuts: At Tier 7, the 130 average damage and limited improvement on Penetration of the 7.5cm Type 5 is starting to show its limitations, though 390 damage in 3 seconds is definitely still going to be chipping away at HP bars.
* MoreDakka: Still uses variations of the same gun as the Type 4 Chi-To's 7.5cm (75mm) Tank Gun Type 5, but now has the additional option of a 3-round magazine Autoloading version that shoots once per second and only has about an 8 to 10 second magazine reload. Additionally, because its other guns are single-shot its allowed to still have a Gun Rammer, allowing for approximately one additional shot per minute if building for maximum RoF.
** Alternatively for slightly higher risk, it can use the standard single shot Type 5 Model I from the Chi-To with a three-second reload, giving it a much higher DPM if having to expose it self to return fire for longer.

Japan's first true heavy tank, the O-I Experimental sits at tier 5. Partially fake and partially real, it is based off of the O-I's unarmored configuration with changes made to the hull and turret design.

(Tier V) Mitsu 108 > Type 3 Ju-Nu > Type 4 Ju-To > Type 57 > Type 68 > Type 71
!!Mitsu 108
A prototype design from the 1930s for a lightly armored "breakthrough" tank equipped with multiple turrets. Cancelled when it neared completion in 1942 due to being long obsolete.

* ArmorIsUseless: Yeah....those front armor values of 70mm of hull and 90mm of turret armor? That only applies to the upper glacis plate and only the immediate area around the the gun mantlet. The rest of the tank is basically one massive weak spot, save for the hull hidden behind the tracks. 900 HP is its sole source of defense.
* GlassCannon: Pray the other team is busy looking elsewhere, because once the Mitsu 108 is noticed, it tends to not last long. Hitting your opponent with a barrage of 115 average damage shells or deleting a large chunk of their health with a 300 average damage 10.5 cm (105mm) cannon tends to get their attention.
* LethalJokeCharacter: The armor is terrible and will struggle versus Tier IV tanks. Its machine gun turrets get in the way of the main gun when attempting to take advantage of its -10 degrees of angle, and its enormous and hard to hide, and the guns accuracy leave much to be desired. However, it also has great power to weight ratio and speed, and both guns are capable of dealing immense damage, either through the quick rate of fire of the 7.5 cm Type 4, or 300 Damage Alpha of the 10.5 cm Type 14.
