* LateToTheRealization: He doesn't notice until Mononoki comes to him with his private diary that it was stolen from his person. He knows it was Iruma and Jazz as part of some gambit to secure the Royal One, but as he doesn't have hard evidence, he cannot retalliate.

* LegacyCharacter: The Naberius clan has for some time maintained a presence among the faculty to be a guard dog for the school. The Dali-sensei at the school when Kalego is a student calls his position "a permanent resident of Babyls." Prior to Kalego holding it, his uncle is that teacher and Kalego's father sent Kalego to be at the school, while Narnia is made to join the Demon Boarder patrol.

** During his second year as a teacher, he is excited at the prospect of two new teachers joining the staff. While still green compared to the senior staff, he is excited at the prospect of training the new teachers and [[spoiler:is saddened at Atori and Shiida's initial departure, but elated when Shiida returns and Opera joining, making Robin Opera's senior]].

* LegacyCharacter: The Dali clan for some time maintained a presence among the faculty. When Kalego is a student at Babyls, the Dali-sensei of time asks him get along with her replacement, this Dali, when both he and Kalego are teachers.

* BaitAndSwitchSilhouette: In their first appearance, they are only seen behind an obscuring window, which makes it seem as though we are simply seeing the silhouette of someone with really bushy hair. Later chapters reveal that, no, that's actually what they look like.

* PrecociousCrush: She entered Babyls 2-3 years early all because she wanted the chance to get with Iruma, who she fell for hard during the Evidol Games. However, Ameri is the only one who seems to pick up on her designs on Iruma. Iruma himself is completely oblivious and when Chima tries to intimidate Shiida during the Heartbreaker with how Chima has done more "romantic" things with Iruma than she had, Shiida is completely baffled. Overall, Chima's crush on Iruma comes across as rather childish overall and nobody but Ameri seems to take it very seriously (and Ameri is already something of an InsecureLoveInterest).

He also cheerfully chokes out a fellow teacher for the crime of snacking right before dinner the day Iruma visits the teachers' dorm.

* OlderThanTheyLook: He was already a teacher when Kalego, Balam, and Opera were attending Babyls, and acted as Kalego's mentor when he was still a newbie. The reveal was so surprising (given Dali's laid-back attitude and young appearance) that the teachers don't believe him until Balam confirmed it.

The reveal was so surprising (given Dali's laid-back attitude and young appearance) that the teachers don't believe him until Balam confirmed it. [[spoiler:The Kalego Gaiden manga casts some question on this, as while there was a Dali teaching when Kalego and Balam were freshmen, she was a woman. Of course, we only see part of Kalego and Balam's freshmen years, there's up to 5 more years during which current Dali took over.]]

* BunnyEarsLawyer: While on call as teachers, they all take their work rather seriously (generally speaking). While off duty however, they are a bunch of oddballs, as particularly seen in the chapter where Iruma and Kalego tour the male teacher's dorm.

* EmotionControl: This appears to be his speciality. Aside from his bloodline magic which allows him to see someone's current mood (among other things), the magic he is seen using most are spells that affect emotions and stress. This is seen both when [[spoiler:he has to perform emergency emotional manipulation under stress when both he and some first years witness Gaap's NightmareFace]] and when he and Kalego go to inspect the Magitools Battler's supernaturally scary painting (though ironically, Murmur is affected by it more than Kalego is). On top of that, his class is psychiatry.

Added DiffLines:

* The SocialExpert: He has elements of this. His bloodline power lets him see the mood of whoever he looks at, along with a variety of other info about them, he seems to specialize in mood related magic, his class is psychiatry, and it is he and Balam (whose bloodline ability is the ability to detect lies) who [[spoiler:interrogate Shiida after Atori attempts to kidnap Iruma at the Heartbreaker exam.]]

* BreakTheHaughty: She is rather haughty due to her abilities and talents (being the top scorer in her year in the entrance exam) and her affection for Iruma. She in particular doesn't take Zeze's claims of being her rival seriously at all. [[spoiler:When her team loses and Zeze's team wins (and Zeze ends up the only first year to rank up), she is clearly angry. And later, we see that the embarassment has brought her to tears when she's at home. Though with her sister's encouragement, she regains her confidence.]]

** Her classmate Zeze considers her one, though she doesn't take him seriously at all. [[spoiler:This changes when his team is one of the two teams to survive the Heartbreaker exam (and her team is not), with Zeze being the only first year to actually rank up, much to Chima's frustration.]]

* ButtMonkey: Whenever he tries to show himself off, Chima quickly shoves him out of the way to show that she doesn't take him all that seriously.

* BoxingLessonsForSuperman: Despite having an ability to tell if someone is lying to him, he still learned to read facial and body reactions in the event his "Buzzer" wasn't enough.

to:

* BoxingLessonsForSuperman: Despite having an ability to tell if someone is lying to him, he still learned to read facial and body reactions in the event his "Buzzer" wasn't enough. This was how he was able to tell that the two new teachers to Babyls who [[spoiler:were secretly members of the Six Fingers who previously unleashed a terrorist attack on Walter Park]] were dangerous. Even though they told no blatant lies that his power would detect, he could tell from their body language that they still had something to hide.

* LivingLieDetector: His bloodline gives him the ability to tell when somebody is trying to deceive him. That said, it only works when people are intentionally trying to deceive him, so if it's simply something that never comes up, such as Iruma keeping the fact he's human a secret without actually lying about it, then he won't pick up on it. It's only when Iruma blurts out that he's human due to Balam's super-comforting demeanor and ''then'' tries to lie about it that Balam's power comes into effect. His power will not register statements of ExactWords as false either. Though it's also implied he can pick up on more covert means of deceit and not just bold faced lies, as he is able to detect a student who was trying to cheat on a test by drinking an intelligence boosting potion. Unrelated to his power, he also knows how to pick up on other more subtle physical tells when talking to someone. When he was interviewing two new teachers to Babyls who [[spoiler:were secretly members of the Six Fingers who previously unleashed a terrorist attack on Walter Park]], even though they tell no blatant lies that his power would detect, he could tell from their body language that they still had something to hide.

* BunnyEarsLawyer: They are rather odd. When first introduced, they come across as a LazyBum, just lying around in the Art Battler room all day long. But when they are given a project that interests them, they show a child like level of excitment and energy, and with that some childish behaviors (particularly when they don't get what they want or want cake). Despite all this, they are a brilliant painter as their first published work single handedly got Silvia interested in art and [[spoiler:their sequel piece to that work was called a true masterpiece by Kalego]]. The only trouble is that for whatever reason, all of their paintings are absolutely terrifying, almost to mind breaking levels.

* LazyBum: Beem's usually seen lying on the floor or on top of objects like boxes, which being covered up by their long unkempt hair just makes it look like there's a large bush of hair lying in the room.

* LazyBum: Beem's usually seen lying on the floor or on top of objects like boxes, which being covered up by their long unkempt hair just makes it look like there's a large bush of hair lying in the room. This appears to largely be due to a lack of motivation, particularly since [[spoiler:they have been forced to burn all of their finished paintings to avoid terrorizing anyone with them]], and once they are given a project to be excited about, they are extremely energetic.
