* AnimalMotifs: Initially, seals were the main one, but she's also come to be associated with ferrets thanks to her beloved pet, Sky, and her VirtualYouTuber design being a ferret girl.

* WeaselMascot: Her AnimalMotif might be seals but her ferret often shows up on Twitter and in videos on one of her [=YouTube=] channels.
* WhatTheHellIsThatAccent: Limes has noted this about herself on occasion. Although she's a Brit living in London, she's lived on the Internet for so long, among mostly Americans, that her (fairly posh-sounding) English accent now sounds almost entirely American except for a few words. When she does try to sound English, it almost comes across as an affect. This tends to genuinely confuse viewers, judging by how often she responds to chat messages about it.

** His "RP Guy" voice has an accent that sounds kind of Russian but more guttural, and Vinny commented during a stream of ''Breath of the Wild'' that the "RP Guy" might not even be from a real country. For what it's worth, Vinny's own attempts at pitching up the RP Guy voice through digital voice modulators have been regarded as uncannily similar to Dexter from ''WesternAnimation/DextersLaboratory''.

He also loves exploring (a prominent feature of ''VideoGame/SuperMarioWorld'', which competed directly with the 16-bit ''Sonic'' games) so they're too fast for him. However, he does admit that the good Sonic games do what they're supposed to do well.

** He's mentioned severe irritation from a few frequent Website/YouTube sponsors who continue to contact him despite declining their offers. In particular, ones who don't read the contact page before sending an email and say something listed there that will automatically have the email deleted without response. The worst of these is ''Raid Shadow Legends'', who infamously will sponsor just about anyone; they contact him about once a week and it's obvious they just click the first email link available since they don't even get his name right (calling him "John Vinesauce", "John Fullsauce", or "Joel" in the header).

* ExtravertedNerd: Is outright called a hipster by both friends and fans. His friends also often mention that he loves partying.

* KindheartedCatLover: Although he's fond of skulls, vikings, and other manly things on his streams, he's also outspoken about his love for animals, especially cats. He owned one as a kid and said he would like to own one, but his apartment is apparently very tiny and he wouldn't want to keep one in such a cramped space. Scandinavian gamers also tend to be good at English due to their tendency to play games in English, as European releases of games either have Scandinavian translations that range from okay to [[BlindIdiotTranslation outright bad]] or completely lack translations for those languages. * SurprisinglyGoodForeignLanguage: Claims to have not learned Japanese in her ''Ouendan'' streams but pronounces the Japanese words well. She also pronounces Joel the Swedish way.

* SurprisinglyGoodEnglish: Subverted. Despite the fact that Joel quotes him in English, Joel once mentioned an incident that indicates that his dad's English skills aren't as good as his own, or at least that this used to be the case. Specifically, Joel once downloaded a file and his dad thought it contained a virus simply because it had the word "madness" in the filename (in English), with his dad mistakenly associating the word exclusively with viruses when used in filenames.

* ContraltoOfDanger: They speak with a low, mature voice.

* HasTwoDaddies: Both Vinny and V-Dub treat him like their adopted son of sorts and [[TakingTheKids argue]] over who is the better mentor figure to him.

* NervesOfSteel: Not a big fan of horror games as he doesn't find many of them even remotely scary (and therefore boring to play and stream). He'll usually respond to such games with his usual snarking or DullSurprise. The number of exceptions in his entire streaming career can possibly be counted on one or two hands, and only for extremely brief moments-- examples include ''VideoGame/{{SOMA}}'', ''VideoGame/SpookysHouseOfJumpscares'', and ''VideoGame/BaldisBasicsInEducationAndLearning''.

This bit him ''especially hard'' during his last Deltarune stream when [[spoiler: he had a chance to beat [[BonusBoss Jevil]] on his first try, but because he powered through instead of checking if Jevil could be pacified he reached the hardest part of the battle when he was low on health, while out of healing items and screwed himself out of the win, [[ItMakesSenseInContext and a pizza.]]]] In a more general sense, when he's playing role-playing games that have more freeform combat, he'll tend to play like a "dumb caveman", as he once put it. He reiterated his gameplay preferences in part 1 of his ''VideoGame/BaldursGateDarkAlliance'' playthrough, saying he hates characters that [[SomeDexterityRequired require "technicality"]] and would rather play a "murder axe fucker", like the dwarf he eventually rolls in said game.

** Demonstrated in ''Videogame/{{Deltarune}}''; he manages to defeat both [[BonusBoss Jevil and Spamton NEO]] with only one retry among the two, yet he's constantly foiled by ''Rouxls Kaard's'' puzzles.[[labelnote:Note]]They're designed to be purposefully easy, demonstrating Rouxls Kaard's big ego yet staggering incompetence.[[/labelnote]]

* NightmareFetishist: Especially when it comes to skeletons. To put into perspective how much he appears to love what everyone else fears, during his ''VideoGame/MarioPaint'' meets ''Series/TheJoyOfPainting'' stream, after drawing some normal landscapes with Bob, which he said "looked like shit, but looked presentable somehow", he devolved into painting a sunset with [[SurpriseCreepy somebody on fire with their flesh melting off]] in the foreground.

* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: He legitimately gets freaked out when seeing a SurpriseCreepy shock image in a WesternAnimation/FelixTheCat bootleg game and [[StunnedSilence stays silent]] for a few seconds.

* WordSaladLyrics: In ''Revnarok'', an album about [[TheHeroSucksSong how much he hates Rev]], many of the songs devolve into this. Possibly the biggest example is "[[Music/JudasPriest Breaking My Butt]]", which devolves into random stories about Rev fucking or masturbating to various [[AnythingThatMoves animate]] or [[ExtremeOmnisexual inanimate]] objects by the second verse.

* TemptingFate: He finds ''VisualNovel/DokiDokiLiteratureClub'' very boring at first and wonders [[SurpriseCreepy why]] it was recommended to him in the first place.

* VindicatedByHistory: Mike often plays games which despite being poorly recieved at the time are considered hidden gems, chief among them Sonic Heroes and Sonic and the Black Knight.
