* ResurgentEmpire: [[spoiler:Galerius's true goal is to restore the original Zenoiran Empire by causing a [[GrandTheftMe mass possession]] of the living inhabitants of Fevrith by the souls of the cursed Zenoirans.]]

* EntitledBastard: While he is motivated by [[spoiler:a desire to bring salvation to his people]], Galerius also just feels entitled to rule over Fevrith. Alain calls Galerius out on this in their final confrontation, saying that he's proven himself totally unworthy of sovereignty through all the senseless destruction he's wrought. [[spoiler:It was with this same attitude of entitlement that Galerius first came to conquer Fevrith in ancient times and led to his entire empire's ruin through his own greed for immortality.]]

* BloodKnight: Theodora devoted herself to the pursuit of endless martial prowess and achievement in life. It's implied she's possessing Berengaria in the climax of the Drakenhold questline and in "Unicorn Overlord;" Berengaria's personality in that route fits her well.

* BreakHisHeartToSaveHim: [[spoiler:She told Travis he was a weakling and held her back, so he'd not follow her when she joined the empire, with the purpose to gain a powerful armor to use against them to avenge their family.]]

* JackOfAllStats: As an Axe Dark Marquess she's got overall balanced stats and can fit into nearly any party composition. Her only mediocre stat is her Guard Rate, but that's mostly moot as she has access to great shields which already have a high guard rate. Her starting skillset includes a lethal combination of an high-initiative blanket enemy debuff, a sweeping stun attack for groups, a single-target heavy blow for individuals, and even a follow-up LifeDrain attack for survivability.

* AnIcePerson: Ironically, despite complaining about the cold, she is still a Sorceress who specializes in casting ice magic. She carries an Icestorm Staff, which allow her to cast ''Blizzard'' that freezes your entire unit if she successfully completes the charge. She is also immune to freeze due to the same staff, so trying to stop her with your own Sorceress will not work.

* AlasPoorVillain: His last words are him describing his dream of freeing the Rat Bestrals from opression, and Morard laments that they could have fought for that dream together if Elgor hadn't chosen such terrible means to achieve it.

* TheBadGuyWins: If the endgame is reached without defeating him, [[spoiler:he's shown having successfully enslaved the Bestrals and is escorting them to fight for Zenoira.]]

* FantasticRacism: He sees bestrals as lowly beasts that deserve only to be subjugated by him. [[spoiler:Ironically, he's killed by Elgor, unbeknownst to him a wererat bestral.]]
* HateSink: Reimann has no redeeming traits at all, belittling everyone around him, being racist towards bestrals, and has no issues enslaving them to his will. [[spoiler:Unlike Elgor, who is given an AlasPoorVillain death, Reimann is betrayed by Elgor and nobody sheds a tear or concern about his loss]].

* GreatWayToGo: Before he dies he tells Josef their battle was the best battle of his life and that he is finally satisfied.

* TheEmperor: Of the reborn Zenoiran Empire.

* FaceHeelTurn: Although he stood at Ilenia's side through the treachery of other Cornian lords, the moment she died he willingly bent the knee to Galerius.

** [[spoiler:He joins Zenoira because of the supposed death of Ilenia. Unbeknownst to him, Galerius was actually a possessed Ilenia.]]

* RewardedAsATraitorDeserves: After swearing loyalty to Galerius, Gailey was put to work aiding the conquest of Drakenhold, a bitter and difficult campaign. Upon its completion, his considerable contributions were noted before he was KickedUpstairs to watch over Elheim, but was effectively rendered [[spoiler:Alcina's]] crony. To illustrate, Galerius saw fit to trust the brainwashed Hodrick and Renault with advancing his true endgame whilst Gailey languished in a region the emperor was no longer personally invested in.

* TokenEvilTeammate: The more we learn about him makes it clear he was this in Ilenia's squad. Hodrick and Renault didn't turn of their own wills, and although Alcina betrayed her quicker than Gailey, she did so only [[spoiler:after seeing the Zenoiran magic and being overwhelmed by her hope of reviving King Gerard]]; she'd also previously returned to service to defend his daughter, and may even [[spoiler:have known she wasn't quite truly dead.]] In contrast, Gailey was loyal to [[spoiler:''nothing but'' his own impression of Ilenia, and completely abandoned any values he may have had when she died.]]

* TogetherInDeath: He welcomes his demise as him finally reining with his dear wife in the afterlife.

A commander of the Zenoiran occupation in Drakenhold, who leads an assault on Prince Gilbert's stronghold in Baumratte.

* StraightForTheCommander: The possible subject of it during the main quest "Another Prince". The quickest way to end TheSiege of Baumratte is to charge straight at him through the oncoming host of enemies. Otherwise, the party will have to [[HoldTheLine kill enough soldiers]] that he'll call the retreat from the sheer causalities being inflicted on his troops.

A Cornian lord known for his cruelty even before Zenoira's invasion gave him the opportunity to defect and satiate his bloodlust. He currently stands as the General of Pritzlasse Fortress, a great iron fortress of Drakenhold said to be impenetrable.

* AchievementsInIgnorance: Less so that he didn't realize the ramifications of what he was doing, but Ghislain's success in nearly completing a cure to the MysticalPlague before his death was an accidental hit to [[ManipulativeBastard Baltro]] and his scheming; part of the reason he's tricked into dying against the Liberation Army was the chance that Alain would halt the experiments and salvage Baltro's efforts.
