Added DiffLines:

* ExtremityExtremist: The amount of times he uses punches or throws with his arms could be counted on your hands.
* MaskedLuchador: Unlike most examples, he prides himself on being evil. His big ambition is to make a name for himself in Evil Choujin history. Due to the power of the Muscle Docking, the area around his mouth of his mask rips off.

Added DiffLines:

* SpecialTechnique: Atonement Awl, where they do something quite similar to the Asura Fireball Bullet where the smaller Ortega is fired out of Moaidon. The difference is Moaidon opens up the mouth on his chest to create a screwhole as opposed to Sunshine's Cursed Roller. The other one is Liar's Mouth, where Moaidon opens his mouth wide and Ortega throws the opponent in. Unlike most lie detector test type moves, the more you tell the TRUTH makes the mouth close. Generally speaking, this wouldn't be an issue. But with guys who try to be honest to a fault like Kin and Terry...

Added DiffLines:

* LivingLieDetector: With his Liar's Mouth technique. Unlike most of these, it wants you to lie, because telling the truth will crush you. The only reason this technique fails on Justice Choujin like Kin and Terry is because Kin is being childish about the fact he already accepts Mantaro as his son.

* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: Has a lot of attributes similar to Sunshine, with them using some shape shifting, and one of his tag team techniques involves something similar to the Asura Fireball Bullet. He's in a lot of ways a more limited Sunshine, considering he isn't gold dust/sand.
* VoluntaryShapeShifting: They don't morph most of their body, but they do manipulate their limbs and their torso. With their limbs it's making them bigger and with their torso they can make it a roller to help Ortega speed up their jumping or for Moiadon's special lie detector move.

to:

* VirtueIsWeakness: Their strategy with dealing with The Machineguns relies on their belief that Kin and Terry's biggest weakness is their kindness. Specifically, how they are the two Justice Choujin of the era to help others even to their own detriment type of kindness. When Suguru entered the arena showing signs of pain, they were excited because it means that since Kin used their kindness, they can win.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: In-universe, they originally tried to enter the Universal Tag Tournament, to represent Latin America. They were considered too cruel to be allowed to compete by the Universal Choujin Committee, considering they murdered a couple of other teams and even their own second. With this new tournament, they tried to apply again and were accepted.

* TheLeader: Of his tag team with Robin Masks, The Adrenalines. This was deliberate on his part as a way to call out his father, who he views as a fool for beinf fine with not being the leader and not getting the glory. He's also picked as this for the mission to go back in time to save Kevin, and generally considered the leader of Team AHO. In fact, when Mantaro learned about the unique rules for the generation ex matches, he makes it a point to assume Terry will move on and win it all for them.

In fact, when Mantaro learned about the unique rules for the generation ex matches, he makes it a point to assume Terry will move on and win it all for them.them.
* TookALevelInBadass: And HOW. Once he starts training with Robin Mask (and Terryman a bit as well), he goes from one of the more middle ground members of the New Generation to arguably better than even Mars, performing feats only really second to Mantaro and Kevin.

* BerserkButton: They really hate the Hell's Bears, viewing them as a reminder of the Olympics held in Russia that was boycotted by the West. They feel the Hell's Bears are an example of the West's hedonism, viewing the Bears as nothing like Misha.
* EarlyBirdCameo: Technically, in Warsman's one shot flashback chapter to his origins released in Muscle Returns. With the success of Warsman, the Soviet Union bigwigs mention wanting to mass produce Robo Choujin, while showing some of those Choujin. Amongst them are Team Cosmos and what appears to be Iliokhine's father.

to:

* AffectionateNickname: Given one by Belmond, Broken-Stone Man or Broken-Stone Brother.
* Fingore: Not exactly his fingers, but his knuckles do get stabbed when Belmond and him punch each other's fist at the same time. Shortly after this, Belmond reveals himself.
* FlamingMeteor: An interesting take on the trope where he turns himself into the meteor.
* Meteor-SummoningAttack: A more unique take where he forms his body into the meteor and tackles the opponent.
* TrainingFromHell: Like most Soviet Choujin, was put through an intense and cruel training regimen. Him going through with it is one of the reasons he views The Hell's Bears as inferior to his tag team.
* VoluntaryShapeshifting: He turns himself into a lot of things related to space, like a meteor or a rocket launch pad.

Added DiffLines:

* Armor-PiercingResponse: On the receiving end of one both literally and figuratively. Once he's done asking Belmond why isn't Belmond still fighting for Mother Russia, Belmond tells him something that gives him pause. That thing being, that their homeland will soon collapse. Belmond then literally armor pierces Sputnik by bear clawing through Sputnik's torso.
* Meteor-SummoningAttack: He can communicate with a satellite to launch debris from space to the ring he's fighting at. He first launches it into the ring during the match with the Hell's Bears and everyone thinks it was just a firework show, but it wasn't. But, once you get rid of his way of communicating with the satellite, he can't communicate with it anymore so no more debris.
* MotherRussiaMakesYouStrong: While both of them believe in this trope, of the two, Sputnikman is the one with more intense speeches about his belief in Mother Russia compared to how bad other countries are. It should also be noted that he's the one who goes to Belmond to talk about his identity as a Russian hero, and how Belmond should be fighting the good fight for Mother Russia with Sputnik and Meteoman.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: After performing his tag team move with Meteoman on Belmond, he goes on a long speech about how the West sucks. He mentions how the decadent lifestyle of the West poisons the youth's mind, and how all languages are inferior to the Soviet Union's, citing how the translation of Major Gagarin's famous speech doesn't sound great in a lot of other languages.
* VoluntaryShapeshifting: More just tightens his posture, really. But he does technically transform himself into a rocket to launch a smaller rocket out of his back.

In fact, when Mantaro learned about the unique rules for the generation ex matches, he makes it a point to assume Terry will move on and win it all for them.
* Mr.Exposition: Terry's usual bread and butter in the series. He usually comments on something he heard from his dad about the villains Mantaro fights that are related to villains from the original series in some way. If he's not doing that, he's commenting on the efficiences in people's techniques (like Barrierfreeman's decision to use palm strikes rather than wild punches in a mount position), or something relating to technology relevant to someone's abilities.

* MistreatmentInducedBetrayal: What causes him to team up with Neptuneman in the first place. While he was appreciative of Neptuneman's praise, it was Mantaro's blatant disrespect towards Sei that made Sei go off to team up with Neptuneman. When Mantaro came back, he got his muddy shoes all over the laundry Sei had just finished, irking Sei a bit. Then, when Neptuneman emphasized it was Sei that he wanted as his tag partner, Mantaro went on a long rant about how much he thinks Sei is a screw up and doesn't even deserve to be called New Generation if not for doing chores for everyone (mainly Mantaro). This really upset Sei, and after Neptuneman left, Mantaro asked Sei to prepare him a meal and wash his underwear. Sei, fed up, throws the underwear back in Mantaro's face. When Mantaro tries to get on his case about it, Sei glares at him and says "Goodbye, Mantaro". Not the normal "Aniki", just "Mantaro". Even Mantaro is left stunned.

* Didn'tThinkThisThrough: He tries to be The Heart of the new generation when they go back in time, which does work to a degree. But, he also tends to say or do things at the wrong time. Like comparing Terry to his father when Terry saves a dog from a truck (Terry saved a dog from a train during the Olympic Qualifiers). He also goes to meet with Neptuneman and Seiuchin by himself, and immediately tries to stop Neptuneman by force. He gets points for trying, but he gets his face ripped off for his troubles.

The second-to-last member of the Demon Seed, and one of the strongest ones. He forms the Demolition tagteam with the Reborn Ashuraman, and they collectively guard Meat's left leg and his head. He and Ashuraman are first fought by Kevin Mask and Mars, who formed the tagteam Blood Evolution, at the General Rib, which is located in Ganryu Island, and he and Ashuraman are later fought again in a second and climatic tag team match against The Younger Masters, composed of Mantaro and Kevin Mask, at the Demon Womb, located in the Osore Mountain of the Shimokita Peninsula. ** Heavily deconstructed in Ultimate Tag when it comes time for him to form a tag team. He originally just assumes he'll be with Terry then gets confused and angry when Terry wants to do his own thing. When almost everyone else is done pairing up, he gets even more upset. Almost no one wants to team up with him, with even Checkmate begging Seiuchin to be his tag partner. When by some miracle, the 21st Century Neptuneman reveals himself, Mantaro's first thought is to want Neptuneman as a tag partner. Mantaro's motives are selfish, wanting Neptuneman to do most of the work. When Neptuneman reveals he wants Sei, Mantaro goes on a rant about how much of a failure and loser Sei is in his eyes, even saying they call him part of the good guys because he does chores well. Mantaro continues to disrespect Sei, upsetting Sei so much that he doesn't even call Mantaro "Aniki" anymore. While The Five Disasters reveal they may have tampered with the New Generation's Friendship Power, Mantaro's choices and actions created arguably an even bigger crack. Mantaro has to work hard to restore everyone's friendship with him, with Sei being his most difficult person to sway back.

Especially a variant of not thinking things through and being rash. One of the biggest examples is acting shocked when Mars reveals he has evil ambitions during Ultimate Tag. This example is the biggest because he brings up them training together at Hercules Factory when previously in the series he informed others that Mars slept through the teachings!

* WhatWereYouThinking: Jade lives and breathes this trope. Most of the turnarounds in his matches that cause his loss are due to what can only be classified as acting dumb. Especially a variant of not thinking things through and being rash. One of the biggest examples is acting shocked when Mars reveals he has evil ambitions during Ultimate Tag. This example is the biggest because he brings up them training together at Hercules Factory when previously in the series he informed others that Mars slept through the teachings!teachings! Not only that, but as Jade questions Mars' motives before their first match in the tournament proper, small flashback drawings of Mars brutalizing Jade are shown around his head!

* HeelFaceTurn: Started out as a villain, but turned to the light side after his defeat. Possibly one of the most blatant examples in the franchise as he can not even fight the Demon Seed because he is no longer "bad" enough to get past the barrier. But other villains who did not hit children can get through just fine.

Possibly one of the most blatant examples in the franchise as he can not even fight the Demon Seed because he is no longer "bad" enough to get past the barrier. But other villains who did not hit children can get through just fine. Arguably the biggest in the new generation, considering he was the only one of the Choujin who went back in time who seemed to have kept his Friendship Power even after the Five Disasters admitted they tampered with it.

* Foreshadowing: Probably unintentional, but the first Choujin he meets when he lands in Japan is Seiuchin. He then tells Seiuchin how great killing was and he started around his age. Sei would become evil at least a year and some change in-universe after this encounter.
