* AirborneAircraftCarrier: While it doesn't look like it when summoned on the battlefield, the Spirit Of Grungni is much, much larger than a normal Thunderbarge, large enough to function as a mobile base for Malakai, and with its' building chains' FlavorText describing it as large enough to contain multiple hangars, barracks, workshop and engineering rooms, up to holding smaller Thunderbarges within.

* SlidingScaleOfGameplayAndStoryIntregation: On the one hand, in the original stories (and multiple FlavorText of its' building chains in-game), the Spirit of Grungni is positively gigantic, being an AirborneAircraftCarrier large enough to accomodate multiple hangar bays for flying contraptions (including a smaller Thunderbarge), living quarters for a sizeable expedition force, multiple workshops, and so on. When summoned in battle (or when appearing in Malakai's campaign intro), it looks no different from a normal Thunderbarge, which is the size of a large house. The flipside of that is that it does still function as a mobile BaseOnWheels for Malakai and his faction, with everything from basic troops to elite Slayers and top-end artillery available for recruitment from its numerous buildings and subsections.

** While all Dwarfs considering the settling of Grudges to be of upmost importance, in the lore it is possible fore a grudge to be settled without bloodshed, usually in the form of a payment as long as the grudge isn't severe enough. Thorgrim Grudgebearer is actually considered a liberal with how lenient he can be with the way grudges are settled. In game, grudges can only be settled with violence, ironically making an intended defensive faction into one of the most aggressive in the campaign.
** Their hatred of Elves is also exaggerated. While yes Elves are heavily disliked, Dwarfs generally won't kill one on sight, and in most situations if you throw a High Elf and a Dwarf in a bar they'd silently agree to ignore each other. Throgrim and Finubar were actually hard at work to repair relations between the two races. After the Dwarf rework, the tech to boost relations with the Elves was removed and a Legendary Grudge was made to eliminate the Elves on Ulthuan, making them seem like as much of an enemy to the Dwarfs as Greenskins or Skaven.

* CoolOldGuy: The Longbeards, the elite infantry of Dwarfish armies, are five centuries old (give or take) and have fought in more battles and against more things than any other Dwarf. You can spot them by their beards which stretch down to brush on the floor and their constant grumbling about how goblins were larger and meaner and everything was just generally made better "back in their day". No young Dwarf would ever dare argue with the word of a Longbeard, as they have the experience and the beard to prove it.

* AscendedExtra: From a supporting character in the Gotrek & Felix book series to a legendary lord in Total War Warhammer.

to:

* AceCustom: The Spirit of Grungni, a variant model Thunderbarge that serves as Malakai's mobile home base. On the campaign map, it functions as an airborne equivalent to the Dark Elves' Black Arks that allows Malakai and any armies that follow him around to resist attrition, recoup losses, gain troop experience and recruit units of all tiers deep into enemy territory. In battle, Malakai can summon it as a Thunderbarge unit to help break enemy lines.
* AscendedExtra: From a supporting character in the Gotrek & Felix book series to a legendary lord in Total War Warhammer.Total War: Warhammer.

* DeathSeeker: Trope in that while Malakai took the Slayer Oath and fully expect to die in battle, he's not looking for death quite as actively as others Slayer, viewing himself as an engineer whose mission is to die after having built and tested mighty warmachines for the Karaz Ankor.
* TheEngineer: The Slayer Engineer to be exact. His unique trait and much of his character skills are all focused on buffing war machines and ranged weapons.

I bet there's all kinds of poor saps trapped in those mines. Our Engineer friend could free 'em if we provide some good old "blackpowder distraction"! Those Dark Elf wazzocks aren't going to know what's hit 'em! Whatever that Black Ark throws at us, we'll crack their heads and send 'em packing back to Naggaroth!"
