"Nutty as a ten-ton bag of pecans smothered in peanut butter, encased in a cashew the size of China", Izzy is easily the most eccentric of all contestants. Bounding with endless energy and insane ideas, Izzy has a wild and excitable personality that makes her nearly impossible for anyone to handle.

* ActionGirl: She's able to regularly beat up a ScaryBlackMan with ease.
* AntiHero: She isn't the most heroic in the cast but isn't immoral either.
* ArchEnemy: To Chef Hatchet, trading blows with him on multiple occasions.
* AxCrazy: Her bio on the official pages at Teletoon and Cartoon Network hints that she is this.
* BadassAdorable: She's a CuteAndPsycho girl who can kick your butt. And Chef's.
* BeautyEqualsGoodness: Despite being a crazy person, Izzy's really one of the friendliest contestants one could meet, especially when compared to someone like Heather or Courtney (who are more sociopathic than her).

* FishEyes: Briefly in "Aftermath: Revenge of the Telethon".
* FlowersForAlgernonSyndrome: Becomes a super-genius in the Jamaica episode but returns to her "normal" self in the second aftermath.
* FreakyIsCool: In her first audition video, she openly admits that she enjoys being freaky.
* FriendToAllLivingThings: She seems to get along better with animals than people, befriending prairie dogs, camels, beavers, and a snake with ease (although the last one bit her).
* FunPersonified: The character most dedicated to comic relief, being all about craziness and being silly. She's always out to have a blast and live life to the fullest.

* GenkiGirl: Hyper does not even ''begin'' to describe Izzy; she's so genki, that she's even enthusiastic about getting poison ivy wrapped around her face as part of a challenge.
* GirlWithPsychoWeapon: Normally a paintball gun would not qualify as a "psycho weapon", but because it's Izzy, she converted hers into a bazooka launcher.

* NiceGirl: Troll tendencies and being completely insane aside Izzy is one of the kindest characters out of the first cast and tries to get along with almost everyone.

* HateSink: Noah has very little positive qualities in the first season. He spends most of his screentime insulting his own team and cannot comprehend why he’s voted off. Keep in mind, he had done nothing to help his teammates and blames everyone but himself for his elimination. After his elimination, he becomes the second sourest person on the island(after Courtney, who he ironically calls out for being a SoreLoser) and still believes he was a team player who did nothing wrong. Noah also shows a total disrespect to any of his fellow competitors to the point where his entire team votes him out and celebrates afterwards.

* AbortedArc: Her friendships with both Bridgette and Leshawna, both of which seemed to evaporate either during or after ''Action''.

* ExtremeOmnivore: He'll eat almost anything, dead or organic. He'll also eat anything that remotely ''looks'' like food, which ends up giving him some extreme constipation after he ate an entire fake buffet made out of sawdust, plastic, and foam-core. In "I Triple Dog Dare You!", Heather even admitted that Owen's ability not to be disgusted by anything edible was his biggest strength. [[spoiler: When he returns in season 2 episode 7 of 2023 as a guest judge, he casually admits he'd be fine eating Chris, and doesn't flinch when he learns one of the cakes was made with Ripper's armpit sweat.]]

* SpotlightStealingSquad: She is one of the most focused-on contestants, especially considering she's never been a finalist, and has gotten deeply involved with practically every antagonist in the first three seasons (especially Heather in ''Island'' and Courtney in ''Action'').
