* HeroesWantRedheads: Sort of. Keith isn't really a hero in anyone's mind but his own, but he ''very much'' wants Gwen, and none of the other possible heroes of the story are shopping around for a romantic interest. [[spoiler: She is very consistently wanted by the ''villains'' of the Solve-It Squad's cases, and it turns out Keith is technically the culprit in this case as well.]]

* WhatDoesSheSeeInHim: Other than the fact that she's a [[HeroesPreferRedheads hot redhead]] it's very difficult to see why Nicholas puts up with being married to Gwen.

* GutturalGrowler: The Apostle is associated with disturbing growling and rumbling noises alongside that trademark EvilLaugh, although when we finally see him again in the climactic chase scene this ends up being PlayedForLaughs and sounding more like belching than anything else, part of the Apostle's VillainDecay [[spoiler: due to actually being Keith]].

* TheVoiceless: Never actually speaks onstage, instead only making his GutturalGrowler noises and his EvilLaugh, so as to disguise his identity. Which is a bit of funny fourth-wall humor since whoever he is, his voice would sound like Creator/BrianRosenthal. [[spoiler: Which is then subverted by the ending.]]
