* KickTheSonOfABitch: A literal version as her sending Motoyasu flying with a swift kick to the crotch becomes a running gag. The first time she ever did it was even a proper example, as she had no idea how much of an ass Motoyasu was at the time, she simply felt like kicking a person who annoyed her, with said person just happening to completely deserve it.

Added DiffLines:

* NiceMeanAndInBetween: The initial trio have this dynamic; Raphtalia is Nice, being a NiceGirl who acts as the TeamMom and MoralityPet to Naofumi, Naofumi is Mean, being a grumpy, ruthless and often greedy JerkWithAHeartOfGold, and Filo is In-Between, being generally friendly but can also be rather bratty at times due to her young age.

Don't know what this trope is about as Raphtalia has plenty of characterization that has nothing to do with Naofumi. She has a backstory, multiple personal relationships both past and present, is the Team Mom and has multiple character arcs. Calling herself Naofumi's "sword" is simply her way of showing her loyalty to him.

* NiceGirl: She's kind, caring and loyal to a fault... Although after her RapidAging age-up, Naofumi notes that Raphtalia has a tendency to stand up for herself a little too quickly, to the point that she occasionally can come off as rude.

* SatelliteLoveInterest: She is largely characterized by her relationship with Naofumi, even calling herself his sword many times over. Administrivia/TropesAreNotBad however; her devotion to him ends up making her the only person able to snap him out of his lowest moment and restore his faith in possibly doing what is right in the world. Without her, Naofumi would be in a far worse state, so her loyalty and devotion to him is incredibly important and framed as a major positive moment for Naofumi.

* ArmorPiercingQuestion: Gives one to Motoyasu after he removes the Slave Crest from her following his rigged victory. When she calls out Motoyasu for freeing her when she never asked for or wanted it, Motoyasu tries to argue that slavery is evil and Naofumi is evil for owning one, Raphtalia tells him that Naofumi has actually done a lot more to help her and asks if he's even capable of showing the same kindness. When Motoyasu weakly replies that he would, Raphtalia tells him that he would have a rescued slave speaking on his behal if that were true, indirectly pointing out his BystanderSyndrome.
