Unlike his original counterpart, he remained partners with Ernesto De La Cruz after they TookAThirdOption and started to fall in love though Imelda and Coco approve of this and Imelda divorces with Hector offscreen. The two eventually died but remained friends to this day...until Hector lost Ernesto to the city's chaos.

Upon doing so, he get so mutaged and lost all chance of making it out of his predicament alive. He then joins the Myles Bots as the team pet and mascot. [[spoiler:As a result of his mutation being permanent and the toll it takes on his mind, he becomes a scatterbrained wolf-like beast with no memories of his former life.]]
