* BackstabbingTheAlphaBitch: Did so in the third grade. After Shay became partially deaf and had to go to the nurse's office, she used her absence at her advantage to steal the position of head cheerleader from her that she's kept since. From that moment on, she and Shay have been arch-enemies.

* DisappearedDad: Episode 65 reveals that Jack, Mrs. Zales' husband, is actually Mackenzie's ''step''father. Since she's never really mentioned her dad, it does raise the question of, where ''is'' Mackenzie's biological father?

Brittnay mainly dumps him when she tells her he has to step up and admit he's gay.
