* FromRoommatesToRomance: After being summoned to another world, Saito is forced to move into the magic academy's dorm and Louise has to share her room with him because she's his master. At first, Louise thinks of Saito as nothing but a {{familiar}} and treats him like a pet at best or slave at worst, even making him sleep on a pile of straw instead of a bed. As they spend more time together, they end up falling in love. [[spoiler:The series ends with them married.]]

* AMatchMadeInStockholm: Although it wasn't intentional, Louise pretty much kidnapped Saito when she accidentally summoned him to her world and forced him to become her {{familiar}}. The way Louise initially treats Saito borders on enslavement, but they eventually become a couple [[spoiler:and even end up married]].
* MistressAndServantBoy: Louise is officially Saito's mistress because he's her {{familiar}}. In the beginning, Louise sees Saito as nothing more than her personal servant, even going to the extreme of calling him her dog and treating him ''far worse'' than that. Their relationship becomes romantic later on, but it still takes time for Louise to stop treating Saito like a slave.

* OfficialCouple: The romance between Louise and Saito is the focus of much of the story. [[spoiler: The two [[HappilyEverAfter get married]] at the end of the light novels and the final anime season.]]
* SwordAndSorcerer: Louise is the Sorcerer and Saito is the Sword. She summoned him to serve as the physical fighter that would protect her while she casts her spells. Granted, she wasn't expecting a ''human'' physical fighter.

* KarmaHoudini: She never receives any consequences for abusing Saito, at all... Granted, she does find herself in embarrassing situations, but that isn't really enough to be considered LaserGuidedKarma.

* MsFanservice: Despite being flat, she has scenes where she is in lingerie.

* PsychoPink: Her hair is bright pink and she's prone to frequent violent outbursts. She can act more mature later on, although [[{{Tsundere}} she still can get aggressive every now and then]].
* PsychosomaticSuperpowerOutage: Inverted. What recharges her willpower are negative emotions. That's why she was unable to cast her magic when she was really happy that everything was going well.

* ThinkingUpPortals: [[spoiler:Season Four sees her learn the "World Door" spell. In the final episode, Louise casts it to see Japan with Saito and meet Saito's parents.]]

* TookALevelInKindness: In season 4, she's still a harsh {{Tsundere}}, but now acknowledges Saito as her boyfriend and is able to befriend her classmates, even her rival Kirche.

* {{Tsundere}}: A textbook Harsh (Tsun) type. She often acts haughty and demanding to Saito, physically abuses him and has trouble expressing how much she cares about him. She can go from berating and yelling at him to kissing him in the matter of seconds. As the series continues, she's more comfortable showing him affection in front of others, but still turns violent at the drop of a hat if [[ClingyJealousGirl she thinks he's getting along too well with other girls]]. The ending of the last anime season is all about Louise's tsundere-ness over Saito.

* FierySensuality: She's a fire mage and has a special talent for using her sexuality to get what she wants. Only a small number of males have the willpower to say no to her. She herself likes to play up that theme

* FlorenceNightingaleEffect: She fell in love with Mr. Colbert while nursing him back to health.

* LadykillerInLove: She was a DudeMagnet who ReallyGetsAround but she falls hard for Mr. Colbert later in the story and becomes dedicated to pursuing him.
* LovableAlphaBitch: Starts off the series as a bully towards Louise, but becomes nicer as the series continues. By this time, she doesn't act rude anymore and often ends up being the gang's big damn hero along with either Tabitha or Mr. Colbert.

* PetTheDog: [[spoiler:After learning of Tabitha's DarkAndTroubledPast and seeing her haunted by nightmares in her sleep, she decides to lie beside Tabitha and embrace her, telling her everything will be alright.]]

* ReallyGetsAround: Kirche seems to date a lot of guys and is heavily implied to be promiscuous (One scene in season 1 shows her half-naked, telling a boy outside to "wait an hour later"), though later descriptions suggest that she just likes to [[TheTease string guys along]] and doesn't actually sleep with any of them. But (barring her SeductionAsOneUpmanship scheme) she won't interfere with anyone who's already in a relationship, as she has no intentions to die over another girl's boyfriend.

* SeductionAsOneUpmanship: Her attempts to seduce Saitou have more to do with her trying to one-up Louise than any actual romantic feelings for him.

* TeacherStudentRomance: In Season Three, Kirche falls in love with Mr. Colbert, and she tries to instigate a relationship.

* BrokenBird: She used to be a cheerful girl, until her mother was driven insane after taking a drugged drink meant for her. Now she rarely shows any emotion. [[spoiler:Which was masterminded by her uncle Joseph.]]

* {{Foil}}: To her best friend Kirche in many ways. Kirche is taller and more [[BustContrastDuo physically well-endowed whereas Tabitha is the opposite]]. Kirche is also much more outgoing and flirtatious with men whereas Tabitha is more of TheStoic. Appearance-wise, Kirche has red hair with dark skin whereas Tabitha possesses blue hair and a much lighter complexion. Their roles in the story also seem to be mirror opposites, as Kirche falls for Saito very early in the series but seems to lose interest in him after the first season, while Tabitha had very little interest in Saito at the beginning of the series but falls for him when the show has reached a much later stage.

* HopelessSuitor: She doesn't start falling for Saito till the very end of Season 3, after he goes out of his way to rescue her from her uncle. She fruitlessly tries to woo him at points in Season 4, and in one incident, even tells Louise that if they got into another fight, she would [[spoiler:simply throw her rank as queen around and forcefully marry him]].

* IcyBlueEyes: Her blue eyes fit her calm and collected personality. She can use ice magic to boot.

* RescueRomance: She begins to like Saito a lot after he goes out of his way to rescue her despite her attempts at attacking him earlier.

* StockingFiller: Rarely goes without her white stockings.
* TheStoic: She rarely shows emotion, even in battle.

There was no act he would hesitate to do, or anything he was not willing to sacrifice due to the 'Void' in his heart. He is the uncle of Tabitha.

To a much wider extent, Joseph is responsible for the the rise of Reconquista in the shadows by helping them and its [[spoiler:true leader and his familiar Sheffield]] to incite wars against Tristain for his plans of [[spoiler:locating the other Void mages]], thereby making him the series' true mastermind. * DrivenToMadness: After taking the potion that was meant for Tabitha/Charlotte, which was perpetrated by Joseph, she became insane and maddened who sees Charlotte's doll Tabitha as her "daughter". [[spoiler:No longer in effect after she was cured.]]

* DemotedToExtra: Compared to Season 1, her screentime is slowly reduced season after season. It's quite possible that this is because she eventually loses interest in Saito (to be fair, it's not like Saito reciprocates her feelings... which is only natural if either side of a relationship isn't interested in the person pining after them) and the role of Louise's [[TheRival rival]] is taken by Siesta.

* MsFanservice: In season 2, where she has a scene in a SexySoakedShirt, and in season 4 where she appears in a sexy negligee.
