* TookALevelInJerkass: The whole team did this after Jenny died as lethal force was no longer just an option, but more often that not, it was the ''only'' one they used; they became arrogant, causally acting unilaterally without regard for the repercussions of their actions and dismissing the valid concerns of others; and at one point, they overthrew the U.S. government.

* FlyingBrick: Swift once killed a person by flying straight through them, making them explode in [[LudicrousGibs causing them to explode in numerous directions]].

* TheChainsOfCommanding: Jack notes that Jenny tends to be more abrasive and loud the more responsibility she takes on.

When asked directly by UN official ''why'' is he doing all that, his answer is merely that it's just because he can. And when his headquarters is about to be squashed by the Carrier, his last words are "I just wanted to have some fun".
* MoralMyopia: He sees absolutely nothing wrong in slaughtering people for fun, but holds a grudge towards Stormwatch members because they tried to stop him -- and killed about two hundred of his people on the way. You know, the very same people that [[{{Hypocrite}} Kaizen himself]] uses as [[WeHaveReserves disposable pawns]] and is visibly uncaring about how many of them will die trying to achieve his goals.
* OmnicidalManiac: He tried to carve his insignia ''into the planet'', attempting to destroy several major cities in the process. Why? [[ForTheEvulz Because he can]].

With the Blues having become sterile from environmental damage to their world, he leads an invasion of the Wildstorm Universe, hoping to revitalize his species.

Also known as ''Night's Bringer of War''. An ex-metahuman soldier who became a rebel from a Stormwatch splinter cell before reconciling with the main organization. Lover, later husband, and battle partner to Apollo. He serves as the team's combat expert and tactician.

* CaptainErsatz: Basically Batman if he was a vicious maniac, and in a relationship with Superman.
* CombatClairvoyance: His whole shtick is that he can see how a battle plays in his head out before making a step and often frightens his opponents by saying he's played out their fight a million times in his head already.
