* AdaptationalSkimpiness: In keeping with other flashbacks showing this version of Dick wearing the classic shorts and pixie boots look he had, the WesternAnimation/BatmanTheAnimatedSeries based segment of "The Real Orangins" modified the Robin design, based on Tim Drake's Robin for the sake of the inverse of this trope, so it'd have the classic shorts instead of the leggins that Dick wore in B: TAS.

* AdaptationalDumbass: Compared to his original version, this incarnation of Beast Boy has almost no common sense.

* TheDitz: He is depicted as the least smartest of the Titans. This is heavily lampshaded in "Brain Food" where the Titans treat him as being excessively stupid. Indeed, he seems to be duller than usual, even being unable to pull rather than push.

** She loves old people and finds them to be cute, hugging and kissing them as Starfire would do with puppies or kittens. This is to the extent that in "Salty Codgers" she intentionally let her friends get aged.

* OnlySaneByComparison: Robin definitely thinks he's the only down-to-earth Titan, and he's not entirely wrong whenever the other Titans are goofing off. Though he's not entirely sane himself, since he's an egotistical, neurotic ControlFreak who constantly wants attention.

* JerkWithAHeartOfJerk: JerkWithAHeartOfGold: As the show goes on.on, the characters have moments where they are not self-centered and childishly impulsive and actually doing a decent job being superheros. They also have genuine friendship moments with each other.

While the main characters can be unlikable compared the original titans, the terms Hate Sink is a bit extreme for a bunch of reckless teens who do have moments where they are not the worst like when they are trying to reform Starfire's mean sister.

* HateSink: The MAIN difference between them and their 2003 counterpart.

* OnlySaneWoman: So far the most rational and mature member of the group. Especially in episodes such as "Terra-ized", and "Nose Mouth". This is the entire premise in "Crazy Day", where she has to put up with the insanity around her, and openly states she is the only one who isn't crazy. At some point in Season 3, this trope was dumbed down to the point of Robin being the only sane person on the team.

* TheDogBitesBack: Whenever Robin wants to be physically abusive, Beast Boy is typically his go-to Titan to smack around. In "Butter Wall", Robin took out his staff and started beating Beast Boy with it. This time, however, Beast Boy turned the tables around after taking those hits, yanked the staff out of Robin's hands, and started beating Robin up with his own weapon in retaliation.
