Interestingly, Lance often avoids the ConflictBall with Ilana. As well as the fact that as the episodes go on, Lance is slowly mellowing out (or at least he's not as HotBlooded as he used to be).

!!Princess Ilana / Ilana "Lunis"
[[quoteright:250:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/SBT-01_1703.jpg]]
->Voiced by Creator/TaraStrong

The princess of the planet Galaluna, Ilana is sent to Earth alongside Lance and Octus for her protection against Modula's forces, disguising themselves as students in Sherman High School. She is compassionate and well-intentioned, but her naivety of human ways causes the student body to label her a "doofus." Ilana and her armor system Corus is the "heart" of the Sym-Bionic Titan.
* ActionGirl: Less aggressive than the guys, but she can and will put up a hell of a fight when the situation calls for it.
* AnimeHair: Seriously, how does her hair manage to stay up like that? And from the looks of her dad, it apparently runs in the family. The one time you actually get to see her hair down is ''very'' briefly when the cheerleaders and she fall into the school pool. Cut to the next scene, and her hair is automatically back up again. The hairstyle appears to be a Galalunian cultural thing. Baron in episode 8 has this hairstyle as well, as do several Galalunian background characters.
* {{Badass}}: Let us count the ways.
* BadassDamsel: She's a princess. Princesses get kidnapped repeatedly without a fight, right? '''Not this one.'''
* BadassNormal
* BadassPrincess: Kind of a given since she's also an ActionGirl.
* BarrierWarrior: Corus, her armor system, is equipped with force fields.
* BeautyIsNeverTarnished: Strongly averted in Episode 13, then again briefly at the beginning of Episode 16 when she gets herself dirty from climbing down a well.
** Episode 19 shows that shes doesn't always look so fantastic in the mornings.
* BodyHorror: Happens during episode 13, "The Demon Within". [[spoiler: The burns from her injury look gruesome, but the transformation sequences are quite a bit more graphic, going to the point of showing Ilana, still technically thinking and acting as herself, seeing her reflection in a puddle, and discovering that ''part of her head has opened to reveal her brain''.]]
* ChestBlaster: Her armor has this weapon.
* ChronicHeroSyndrome: Has a compulsive need to help people in trouble. Sometimes it's a good thing, other times it's not.
* CloserToEarth: She is quicker to accept human lifestyles and customs than Lance and Octus.
* CoolLoser: Most of her classmates either ignore her or make fun of her.
* DaddysGirl: She loves her father so much that seeing an illusion of him dead causes an emotional breakdown.
* EnemyScan: Done in episode 3, "Elephant Logic", on the mysterious, gaseous blob that's destroying everything, then on the dragon monster.
* [[EverythingsBetterWithPrincesses Everything's Better With Princesses]]
* FallenPrincess
* FishOutOfWater / NoSocialSkills
* FragileSpeedster: Her Corus armor seems to be like this, yet it's sturdy enough to survive a falling building and a stomping from a false Manus unit unscathed.
* FrickinLaserBeams: Corus can shoot a beam capable of destroying pretty much anything. [[spoiler:This gets shown off in episode 11.]]
* GoGetterGirl
* GoldMakesEverythingShiny: Her armor.
* GracefulLadiesLikePurple: Her princess dress.
* GranolaGirl / HippieChick: Appears as one because of her overtly friendliness and peace-loving nature.
* TheHeart: Both metaphorically and literally, since her armor forms the heart of the Titan.
* {{The Hero}}ine
* LoveFreak: Resulting in considerable mockery from her classmates.
* MagicSkirt: Whenever she wears one.
* MissingMom: There's been no mention of her mother so far, and the one possible cameo of her is questionable.
* PluckyGirl
* ThePollyanna: Definitely the most upbeat and optimistic member of the group.
* PoweredArmor: Her Corus unit is like this and is only slightly larger than an adult human by a foot or so.
* ThePresidentsDaughter: Modula wants Ilana killed so that there is no one in his way to take the Galalunian throne and no one to inspire hope in the people to rebel against him.
* PrincessesPreferPink: A fair portion of her outfits consist of either pink or purple. Even the screens inside her armor are pink.
* {{Protectorate}}: Towards Lance and Octus.
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: When Galaluna was at peace, she did a lot of diplomatic and humanitarian work, as well as copious rescues of trapped-in-a-well pets.
* TheKirk: The "Heart" in the Galanuian trinity of heart, body, and mind.
* SpockSpeak: Similar to that of [[WesternAnimation/TeenTitans Starfire]] (even though she's voiced by ''[[TaraStrong Raven]]''). This lasts for only the first few episodes, however.
* SpoiledSweet: Ilana is obviously used to the finer things in life, but she doesn't let that get in the way of saving the day when evil rears its head oh-so-often. In fact, in a way, it makes her more suited to it.
* StrangeGirl: To the rest of the student body, at least, due to her obliviousness to human customs. For a Galalunian princess, her behavior is probably fairly normal.
* UnlimitedWardrobe: She's worn four different outfits in a single episode.
* WomanInWhite: In episode 6.
* YouthfulFreckles
* ZettaiRyouiki: A marvelous Class B, [[DependingOnTheArtist Class A in other shots]].
----
3!Corporal Lance / Lance "Lunis"
[[quoteright:250:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/SBT-02_8260.jpg]]
->Voiced by Kevin Thoms

A Galalunian soldier and Ilana's bodyguard. Lance is labeled as a "bad boy" at school when he unintentionally draws all the girls' attention. He is not one to back out of a fight and is very protective of Ilana, easily mistaking anything as a threat to her. Lance and his armor system Manus is the "body" of the Sym-Bionic Titan.
* AllGirlsWantBadBoys: He's been to jail at least twice on Galaluna and once on Earth, so in that sense he really is a bad boy.
-->'''Teacher:''' Care to tell the class a little bit about yourself?\\
'''Lance:''' ... No.\\
''(girls in the class smile in awe)''
* AlliterativeName: His SecretIdentity name.
* {{Badass}}: Hoo boy.
* BadassNormal: Episode 4 sees him briefly become something that resembles [[{{Batman}} a certain famous badass crimefighter that doesn't possess supernatural abilities]].
* BadassAngster
* BadassDriver: Just ''look'' at what he does in episode 5.
* BadassLonghair
* {{Badbutt}}
* BeautyIsNeverTarnished: Somewhat averted in the rather {{Squick}}-inducing interrogation Xishi pulls on him and when the audience clearly sees him get bruised for good measure by the G3 interrogator.
* TheBigGuy
* BrainsAndBrawn: Brawn to Octus' Brains.
* CaptainErsatz: He basically ''is'' [[Manga/GetterRobo Hyato Jin]], right down to the hairstyle. Specifically, the aloof but chivalrous Hyato Jin of the 1970s anime, as opposed to the violent psychopath from the manga and DarkerAndEdgier later anime.
* ChickMagnet: Every girl at school practically worships the ground he walks on, but he can't actually work up the nerve to pursue the one he actually likes. The one time he asked she turned him down, but that was more because of his choice of locale rather than denying him personally.
* ChronicHeroSyndrome: Not as much as Ilana, but he does state in episode 4 that fighting crime makes him feel like he has a purpose.
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow: Black hair and eyes.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: "Shadows of Youth" deals entirely with his unpleasant childhood as an orphan in military school.
* DistressedDude: A couple times.
* DisappearedDad: Vanished through a prototype rift gate and is presumed dead. Though when he was a kid, he believed he's still alive. And always hoped he would come back and take him home. But after his terrible first year at the military academy, he accepted that he's dead.
-->'''Lance:''' With all due respect, you're not my father.\\
'''The King:''' You're right, I'm not your father. But if he were here--\\
'''Lance:''' He's ''not'' here! He's dead, and he's never coming back.
* MrFanservice: Perhaps best exemplified with the ShirtlessScene in the third episode. And lampshaded in the fourth episode:
-->'''Ilana:''' [[LampshadeHanging I don't get it.]]\\
'''Octus:''' [[TallDarkAndHandsome Dark hair,]] [[WhatBeautifulEyes bedroom eyes,]] [[TallDarkAndSnarky moody demeanor,]] [[HoYay I totally get it.]]
* FishOutOfWater / NoSocialSkills: In his own sort of way, especially when he considers anyone who so much as lays a hand on Ilana as an enemy.
* GeekyTurnOn: Mike Chan's car causes his "circuits to pulse."
* GenreSavvy: He knows that any time Ilana gets excited about something it probably won't end well and in "A Family Crisis" he flat out states that nothing good will come from leaving to rescue Solomon.
-->"Why is it that everyone agrees that I'm right but we're going anyway?"
* HeroicVow: To protect Ilana.
* HiddenDepths:
-->'''Ilana:''' Why do you think my father chose somebody so...''strange?''\\
'''Octus:''' Maybe your father sees something in him that none of us do.
* HotBlooded: Complete with HotbloodedSideburns.
* IdiotHair: Far from being an idiot, though.
* IWillProtectHer: To Ilana. And he takes his job [[BerserkButton very]] [[HotBlooded seriously]].
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: He can be pretty intense when it comes to protecting Ilana, evidently shown in the second episode, but he's well-intentioned and will try to make up for his wrongs -- such as destroying the robot that he accidently led back to the neighborhood and getting Ilana the [[PetTheDog snow globe]] she was admiring from the furniture store.\\\
Interestingly, Lance often avoids the ConflictBall with Ilana. As well as the fact that as the episodes go on, Lance is slowly mellowing out (or at least he's not as HotBlooded as he used to be).
* TheLancer: Doubles as MeaningfulName.
* TheMcCoy: The "Body" in the Galalunian trio of heart, body, and mind.
* MeaningfulName: His armor wields a lance and is TheLancer. Reversed, it means an [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lance_Corporal actual rank]].
* MissingMom: As with Ilana, the issue's never really brought up.
* MightyGlacier: Manus, his armor system.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: Lance has more than once managed to create quite the mess due to his insensitivity and quick-tempered nature.
* OneManArmy: Lance, to the point that the Galaluna Military seems to think his mere presence would be enough to turn the tide of the war they've already lost.
* LeParkour: Judging by his chasing-down of Ilana when she wanted to go to the mall, he's pretty good at it.
* SelfMadeMan: He had some support from the king and General Modula, but other than that he was pretty much on his own.

* TallDarkAndHandsome: 6'0'' and 155 lbs, according to his license.

* [[ItsPopularNowItSucks You're Popular, So You Suck]]: [[InvokedTrope Invoked]]; he had a short lived tenure in a band, only to be fired because he was too "mainstream".

!!Octus / Newton / Mr. Lunis
[[quoteright:250:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Octus-Newton-Dad_2_5157.jpg]]
->Voiced by BrianPosehn

A bio-cyberneric robot sent alongside Ilana and Lance. Octus's hologram disguises include "Newton" when he's in Sherman High School; and Ilana's and Lance's "Dad" outside of school. He is intelligent, but is considered a nerd by Sherman High School students. Octus is the "mind" of the Sym-Bionic Titan.
* {{Adorkable}}
* AwesomenessByAnalysis: In a mundane way. He's able to out-chug and out-belch Meat simply by observing how Meat did it and one-upping him.
* BadassBookworm
* BigEater: Just how many of those Popsicles did he eat in one sitting?
* BrainsAndBrawn: Brains to Lance's Brawn.
* CallingYourBathroomBreaks: Regularly uses this excuse to get out of class/leave a party/etc. in order to fight evil and save the world.
* [[spoiler:CameBackStrong]]: [[spoiler: Is brought back to life by the head of G3 in the series finale. Not only can Titan be formed again, its power increased greatly along with having gained the ability to [[IronMan fire powerful energy beams from its limbs]]]].
* TheComicallySerious: He manages to pull off a lot of witty one-liners without even seeming to try. And when he actually does try to make jokes, [[SoUnfunnyItsFunny they're so nerdy that no one else gets them]]. And if he's in a bad mood, he can become a DeadpanSnarker.
* DoAndroidsDream
* DoAnythingRobot: So far, Octus has been very versatile. He can even generate solid cash (and other objects) by apparently converting it directly from energy. This may be the same matter-replicators used to make the Titan's weapons.
* EmergentHuman: He's [[CaptainObvious definitely not a human]] but, he's not ''just'' a robot either. This is examined in "I Am Octus".
* FlyingBrick: Not only can he fly, he can get hit by a truck on the freeway without being hurt. The truck crumbles from the impact, while Octus doesn't even flinch.
* GeniusBruiser: He could probably beat Lance in a fight if he wanted to.
* HeroesWantRedheads: With Kimmy, though she seemed to be attracted to him first.
* [[spoiler:HeroicSacrifice: The end of episode 18. Though [[UnexplainedRecovery he recovers]].]]
* HollywoodNerd: His high school disguise. He actually [[SubvertedTrope subverts]] this because he actually ends up with [[OddFriendship a Jock friend]] and [[GiveGeeksAChance Kimmy as a girlfriend]]. He seems to be growing in popularity off-screen, too -- his contacts list in "Shaman of Fear" has at least 10 names on it besides "Ilana" and "LANCE".
* HugeGuyTinyGirl: He's a lot bigger than Kimmy.
* IWillProtectHer: Most fans seem to forget that he has the same bodyguard mission as Lance, he's just more calm about it. May also extend to his girlfriend Kimmy.
* LetsGetDangerous: The gloves are off when he sheds his disguise.
* LightningBruiser: In addition to being able to move faster than the human eye can see, Octus is also strong enough to punch monsters through walls with relative ease.
* TheMasqueradeWillKillYourDatingLife: In "Under the Three Moons" it did.
* MasterOfDisguise: But he frankly doesn't put that much effort into it when we know for a fact he could. Aside from the fact that his bulk never changes, his "dad" persona is essentially his "student" aged up appropriately. He's shown the ability to alter his appearance into a much thinner form, so apparently he just doesn't feel like it.
* MundaneUtility: Octus is super-strong and super-fast, and will use all his might and skill to... throw snowballs.
* MysteriousPast: Exactly how he came to be isn't entirely clear. We at least know Ilana's father was doing some touch-up work just prior to the invasion, but that's it.
* NotDistractedByTheSexy: Kimmy's dance in "Lessons in Love" fails to convince Newton to do her homework for her.
* OppositesAttract: Newton developed a completely unexpected romance with the not-so-ditzy sexpot cheerleader, Kimmy.
* PapaWolf: To Lance and Ilana.
* ProtagonistCenteredMorality: Octus is the most guilty of this out of the three, which makes sense because his programming dictates Ilana be protected first and foremost. He doesn't want Lance stopping crimes only because it attracts undue attention, and was perfectly fine with Lance driving a car without a license (and would have made him one if asked).\\\
By the events of "A Family Crisis" he seems to have moved past this mindset, agreeing with Ilana to respond to Solomon's distress call as it is the right thing to do, much to Lance's annoyance.
* RealMenWearPink: Literally. He wears a pink apron and matching oven mitts when he cooks.
* RidiculouslyHumanRobots: Octus has made the point several times that he's not an average robot whenever this issue comes up.
* RobotBuddy: Although Ilana and Lance don't seem to see him like this.
* SecretIdentity: He has TWO of them; Newton and 'Dad' Lunis. How Newton fits into the Lunis family is highly ambiguous.
* SheIsNotMyGirlfriend: He says this exact line when Lance teases him about Kimmy in "Lessons in Love". Then he ends up kissing her and they've been dating ever since.
* {{Sizeshifter}}: An extension of his shapeshifting ability, allowing him to grow to giant proportions. The team probably couldn't form Titan if he didn't have this power.
* TheSmartGuy
* TheSpock: The "Mind" in the Galalunian trio of heart, body, and mind. He does gradually gain emotions, but he still fits this role since Ilana is still the more emotionally motivated.
* SpockSpeak: He gradually begins to take on human speech affections, to varying levels of success.
-->'''Octus:''' I know, right? ''(said without any intonation)''
* SugarAndIcePersonality
* SuperSpeed: Octus displays this in Episode 6, going fast enough to be invisible to the naked eye and whip up a strong breeze, yet not fast enough to cause a sonic boom. He doesn't even have to move his upper-body to boot.
* TeamChef: He seems to be the only one in the group who knows how to cook.
* TeamDad: In the literal sense, as he disguises himself as the team's father at home. Plays the trope straight, too.
* TinMan: In "I Am Octus." It was inevitable, really.
* [[spoiler:UnexplainedRecovery]]: [[spoiler:After spending episode 19 dead, he's brought back to life by the head of G3 in episode 20 and this is pretty much his explaination.]]
* VoluntaryShapeshifting: Overlaps with MasterOfDisguise and {{Sizeshifter}}.
* WhatIsThisThingYouCallLove: Subverted - he understands the concept but doesn't feel it with Kimmy (initially, at least). Instead, he feels 'happy' around her (sounding more like an unusually self-aware teenager than a robot).

!!General Modula
[[quoteright:250:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/SBT-04_9870.jpg]]
->Voiced by Don Leslie

The driving force that caused Lance, Ilana, and Octus to flee Galaluna, Modula is a sort of dictator who controls a group of aliens called the Mutraddi. Because he is too busy conquering Galaluna for himself, Modula sends a giant monster every so often to kill the princess and stop any possibility of rebellion against him.
* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: One episode displays him putting down a rebellion platoon using nothing more than his ''bare hands'' without really trying. Counts during his pre-BigBad days, too: he deactivated two Manus armors standing upright by himself in an instant.
* BadBoss: He doesn't take failure very well.
* BigBad
* EvilFormerFriend: To the King.
* EyeBeams: His helmet-eye [[WeaponizedHeadgear shoots mind-reading beams and disintegration rays]].
* EyelessFace: His hat conceals his eyes, though it actually ''has'' an eye on it itself.
* FaceHeelTurn: We don't know the details yet, but he used to be one of the good guys.
* FallenHero
* [[HiveQueen Hive King]]: Seems to play this role to the otherwise mindless Mutraddi.
* NiceHat: Which also lets him talk to the monsters he sends to Earth.
* PsychicPowers
* OutOfFocus: In the second half of the series he appears in only ''one'' episode.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Before his FaceHeelTurn, he was a very agreeable guy.
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge: His whole motive seems to be to get revenge on the King for abandoning him on the Mutraddi homeworld.
----
!!Solomon
[[quoteright:250:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/SBT-05_2224.jpg]]
->Voiced by Tim Russ

An enigmatic individual affiliated with a group known as the Galactic Guardians. His ambitions, motivation, and alignment remain to be seen, although to date he has typically served only to play as the voice of reason against the heavy-handed tactics of General Steel. [[spoiler:Both his fighting style and the technology he uses are Galalunian in origin, a mystery that has yet to be explained.]]
* {{Badass}}: The man can fight on par with Lance.
* BadassLongcoat
* HeelFaceTurn: After the heroes save him from the Energy Creature, he's more than willing to return the favor and help them.
* HiddenAgendaVillain: If he is a villain. He might be more of an [[spoiler:EnigmaticMinion, since he's actually working for someone else]].
* NiceHat: His whole wardrobe, really. Brings to mind [[Manga/{{Hellsing}} a certain vampire...]]
* ShoutOut
** The name he introduces himself to Ilana is [[SolomonKane Kane.]]
** And his dress sense is near identical to [[Manga/{{Hellsing}} Alucard]], to boot.
* TheStoic: Typically very cool and reserved, and to date hasn't been seen to express any emotion particularly strongly. He's NotSoStoic as to pass up the occasional deadpan snark at General Steel's expense, however, or to crack a smile at [[CrowningMomentOfFunny a children's song about teamwork being played from the speakers of a giant robot]].
----
!!General Julius Steel
[[quoteright:250:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/SBT-06_8188.jpg]]
->Voiced by JohnDiMaggio

A decorated military officer whose unit is the first to encounter Ilana and Lance after their decent to Earth. He has deep contempt for the Titan once it becomes known, and openly encourages people to assume it to be a menace. He's also stubborn as a mule, refuses to listen to the advice of his subordinates, and never takes responsibility for his mistakes. Openly detests Solomon.
* {{BFG}}: His mecha is armed with a large number of these. But the one it uses as a FinishingMove is connected to its arm and can completely vaporize a giant monster in one blast.
* ChronicHeroSyndrome: His speech during the televised debate over whether the Titan is a friend or a menace hints that part of the reason he so strongly detests the Titan is that people consider it a hero, and not people like him.
* {{Determinator}}: In the last fight he was in, he used his mech's full power to blast the monster. When that didn't work, and the arms were ripped off, he continued with a missile salvo (wasn't that effective), when the robot was torn apart and smashed. Steele got out and began shooting at the monster himself, with a handgun.
* {{Expy}}: Arguably of General Thaddeus E. "Thunderbolt" Ross from the ''ComicBook/IncredibleHulk''.
* GeneralRipper: Steel's violent obsession to stop any aliens tends to endanger his men and everyone around him. Shows during his mecha's first battle. His fighting style is far more agressive than the Titan's and tends to cause a great deal of damage.
* GoodIsNotNice: He's not really evil, and takes his job as a soldier seriously... but he's probably the least pleasant earthling we've seen in the series so far.
* HarmlessVillain: Starting to fall into this, especially compared to Solomon and Modula.
** NotSoHarmlessVillain: Not anymore, he finally decided to even the playing field and get himself his own giant robot, The Hammer.
* [[spoiler:HeelFaceTurn]]
* {{Jerkass}}: The way he treats subordinates who disagree with him is a little less than reasonable, he also acts this way toward Solomon.
* LargeHam: When the H.M.E.R first appears, [[ChewingTheScenery he chews up more scenery]] than the monster he's fighting.
* MoreDakka: His solution to most problems is finding a bigger gun to fire at it. This has come back to bite him on the butt at least once so far. His own personal mecha, the H.M.E.R, is this trope. It's packed with an ungodly amount of guns and weapons.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: His actions are what result in episode 3's MonsterOfTheWeek.
* TookALevelInBadass: [[spoiler:Once he gets a giant robot of his own.]]

!!Kimmy
[[quoteright:250:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/SBT-07_5453.jpg]]
->Voiced by Creator/KariWahlgren

The captain of Sherman High's cheer squad. When she is first introduced she behaves like a stereotypical mean and shallow popular girl, but it's really all just an act. She first reveals her true nature to Newton and, to everyone's surprise, falls in love with him. The two have been dating ever since and so far she has no idea that he's really a robot. She is similarly oblivious to Lance and Ilana's secret identities, though their behavior makes her suspicious at times.
* BrainlessBeauty: Greatly deconstructed; Kimmy has very little confidence (initially) of her intelligence ''because'' people see her as this trope, and a good talk with Octus helps her realize that she didn't need to follow the stereotype.
* TheCheerleader / AlphaBitch: Prior to CharacterDevelopment.
* DefrostingIceQueen: Frosty until a certain study session...
* FieryRedhead: She can be even feistier than Ilana!
* GiveGeeksAChance: She does and attempts to explain his appeal to her friends.
* HiddenDepths: There's more going on behind that pretty face than you'd think.
* ImpossibleHourglassFigure: She's got plenty of curves and evidently likes to show them off.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: She softens up enough to help Ilana save the school but her attitude doesn't fully change until Newton gets through to her.
* LovableAlphaBitch: [[LoveRedeems She mellowed out once she hooked up with Newton.]]
* MsFanservice: Dresses provactively and shows it off
* ObfuscatingStupidity: Reveals to Newton that she believed she's a ditzy airhead because society says so. He convinces her otherwise, and is indeed much brighter than she realized.
* StepfordSmiler
* {{Tsundere}}: She seems to go back and forth between both types.

The characters of ''[[SymBionicTitan Sym-Bionic Titan]]'':

----

!Princess Ilana / Ilana "Lunis"
->Voiced by TaraStrong

* ActionGirl
* AnimeHair: Seriously, how does her hair manage to stay up like that? And from the looks of her dad, it apparently runs in the family.
** The one time you actually get to see her hair down is ''very'' briefly when the cheerleaders and she fall into the school pool. Cut to the next scene, and her hair is automatically back up again.
* BadassPrincess
* BarrierWarrior: Corus.
* TheChick / [[TheHero The Heroine]]
* ChronicHeroSyndrome
* CloserToEarth
* [[EverythingsBetterWithPrincesses Everything's Better With Princesses]]
* FallenPrincess
* FishOutOfWater / RaisedByWolves
* FragileSpeedster: Corus.
* GenkiGirl
* GranolaGirl / HippieChick: Appears as one because of her overtly friendliness and peace-loving nature.
* HairOfGold
* TheHeart: She's even the heart of the Titan.
* LawfulGood: Willing to bend the rules when things get serious though.
-->'''Ilana:''' Nobody drink the milk! It expired yesterday!
* LimitedWardrobe: Averted to the point where she's now worn four different outfits in a single episode.
* MagicSkirt: Whenever she wears one.
* ThePollyanna
* PluckyGirl
* PoweredArmor
* [[ThePresidentsDaughter The President's Daughter]]: Modula wants Ilana killed so that there is no one in his way to take the Galaluna throne and no one to inspire hope in the people to rebel against him.
* PrincessesPreferPink: So far, her outfits consist of either pink or purple.
** Averted in ''Elephant Logic''! She not only doesn't wear anything bright for a majority of the episode, but goes almost full ElegantGothicLolita on us!
* {{Protectorate}}: Towards Lance.
* RebelliousPrincess
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething
* SpockSpeak: Similar to that of [[TeenTitans Starfire]].
* SpoiledSweet: Ilana is obviously used to the finer things in life, but she doesn't seem to let that get in the way of saving the day when evil rears its head oh-so-often.
* WellExcuseMePrincess: Between Ilana and Lance.
* WomanInWhite: In Episode 6.
* ZettaiRyouiki: A marvelous Class B, [[DependingOnTheArtist Class A in other shots]].

!Corporal Lance / Lance "Lunis"
->Voiced by Kevin Thoms

A Galaluna soldier and Ilana's bodyguard.

* AllGirlsWantBadBoys:
-->'''Teacher:''' Care to tell the class a little bit about yourself?
-->'''Lance:''' ... No.
-->[''Girls in the class smile in awe'']
* AlliterativeName: His SecretIdentity name.
* {{Badass}}
* TheBigGuy / TheLancer
* BrainsAndBrawn: The Brawn.
* ChaoticGood: He tends to have run-ins with the human authorities ''a lot''. Given his experiences as a kid, it comes as no surprise.
* ChickMagnet
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow
* CuteShotaroBoy: When he was a kid.
* DarkAndTroubledPast
* DeadpanSnarker
* DisappearedDad
* EstrogenBrigadeBait: Perhaps best exemplified with the ShirtlessScene in the third episode.
** And lampshaded in the fourth episode:
-->'''Ilana''': [[LampshadeHanging I don't get it.]]
-->'''Octus''': [[TallDarkAndHandsome Dark hair,]] [[WhatBeautifulEyes bedroom eyes,]] [[TallDarkAndSnarky moody demeanor,]] [[HoYay I totally get it.]]
* FishOutOfWater / RaisedByWolves: In his own sort of way, especially when he considers anyone who so much as lays a hand on Ilana as an enemy.
* GoodLookingPrivates
* HeroicVow: To protect Ilana.
* HiddenDepths:
-->'''Ilana:''' Why do you think my father chose somebody so...''strange?''
-->'''Octus:''' Maybe your father sees something in him that none of us do.
* HotBlooded
* IronWoobie: Lance has had a hard life...doesn't stop him from being awesome.
* IWillProtectHer: To Ilana. And he takes his job [[BerserkButton very]] [[HotBlooded seriously]].
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: He can be pretty [[{{Understatement}} intense]] when it comes to protecting Ilana, evidently shown in the second episode, but he's well-intentioned and will try to make up for his wrongs -- such as destroying the robot that he accidently led back to the neighborhood and getting Ilana the [[PetTheDog snow globe]] she was admiring from the furniture store.
** Interestingly, Lance often avoids the ConflictBall with Ilana.
* LeParkour: Judging by his chasing-down of Ilana when she wanted to go to the mall, he's pretty good at it.
* MeaningfulName: His mech wields a lance and is TheLancer. Reversed, it means an [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lance_Corporal actual rank]].
* MightyGlacier: Manus.
* MysteriousPast: And clearly, Lance would prefer it this way.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: Lance has more than once managed to create quite the mess due to his insensitivity and quick-tempered nature.
* NotGoodWithPeople
* OneManArmy: Lance, to the point that the Galaluna Military seems to think his mere presence would be enough to turn the tide of the war they've already lost. It might help that none of them seem to have their own HumongousMecha like Lance does, but this alone shouldn't be considered enough to turn the tide.
* SarcasticDevotee
* SelfMadeMan
* ShirtlessScene: So far, he's had more fanservice than Ilana!
* SourSupporter
* SpockSpeak
* TallDarkAndHandsome
* TallDarkAndSnarky
* TroubledButCute

Also, the outfit.
* HiddenAgendaVillain: If he is a villain.

* NiceJobBreakingItHero: His actions are what result in episode 3's MonsterOfTheWeek.
* StrawmanHasAPoint: During the televised Titan debate in episode 3, he counters the commentator's saying the Titan saved them from the fire monster by pointing out that it's probably the Titan's fault the monster showed up in the first place. This is technically true, although in his case there's no way he could have known it.

* WomanInWhite: In Episode 6.
* ZettaiRyouiki: A marvelous Class B, [[DependingOnTheArtist Class A in other shots]].

!Corporal Lance / Lance "Lunis"
->Voiced by Kevin Thoms

A Galaluna soldier and Ilana's bodyguard.

* AllGirlsWantBadBoys:
-->'''Teacher:''' Care to tell the class a little bit about yourself?
-->'''Lance:''' ... No.
-->[''Girls in the class smile in awe'']
* AlliterativeName: His SecretIdentity name.
* {{Badass}}
* TheBigGuy / TheLancer
* BrainsAndBrawn: The Brawn.
* ChaoticGood: He tends to have run-ins with the human authorities ''a lot''. Given his experiences as a kid, it comes as no surprise.
* ChickMagnet
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow
* CuteShotaroBoy: When he was a kid.
* DarkAndTroubledPast
* DeadpanSnarker
* DisappearedDad
* EstrogenBrigadeBait: Perhaps best exemplified with the ShirtlessScene in the third episode.
** And lampshaded in the fourth episode:
-->'''Ilana''': [[LampshadeHanging I don't get it.]]
* GoodLookingPrivates
* HeroicVow: To protect Ilana.
* HiddenDepths:
-->'''Ilana:''' Why do you think my father chose somebody so...''strange?''
-->'''Octus:''' Maybe your father sees something in him that none of us do.
* HotBlooded
* MightyGlacier: Manus.
* MysteriousPast: And clearly, Lance would prefer it this way.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: Lance has more than once managed to create quite the mess due to his insensitivity and quick-tempered nature.
* NotGoodWithPeople
* OneManArmy: Lance, to the point that the Galaluna Military seems to think his mere presence would be enough to turn the tide of the war they've already lost. It might help that none of them seem to have their own HumongousMecha like Lance does, but this alone shouldn't be considered enough to turn the tide.
* SarcasticDevotee
* SelfMadeMan
* ShirtlessScene: So far, he's had more fanservice than Ilana!
* SourSupporter
* SpockSpeak
* TallDarkAndHandsome
* TallDarkAndSnarky
* TroubledButCute
* WellExcuseMePrincess: Between Ilana and Lance.

!Octus / Newton / Mr. Lunis
->Voiced by BrianPosehn

* BrainsAndBrawn: The Brains.
* DoAnythingRobot: So far, Octus has been very versatile. He can even generate solid cash (and other objects) by apparently converting it directly from energy.
** This may be the same matter-replicators used to make the Titan's weapons.
* HoYay: With Meat at the end of Episode 7.
* LightningBruiser: In addition to being able to move faster than the human eye can see, Octus is also strong enough to punch monsters through walls with relative ease.
* MasterOfDisguise: But he frankly doesn't put that much effort into it. Aside from the fact that his bulk never changes, his "dad" persona is essentially his "student" aged up appropriately.
* ProtagonistCenteredMorality: Octus is the most guilty of this out of the three, which makes sense because his programming dictates Ilana be protected first and foremost. He doesn't want Lance stopping crimes only because it attracts undue attention, and was perfectly fine with Lance driving a car without a license (and would have made him one if asked).
* RobotBuddy
* TheSmartGuy
* SpockSpeak
* SuperSpeed: Octus displays this in episode 6, going fast enough to be invisible to the naked eye, yet not fast enough to cause a sonic boom, and doesn't even have to move his upper-body to boot.
* TeamDad: In the literal sense, as he disguises himself as the team's father at home. Plays the trope straight, too.

!General Modula
->Voiced by Don Leslie

* BigBad
* EvilFormerFriend: To the King.
* EyeBeams: His helmet-eye shoots mind-reading beams.
* EyelessFace: His hat conceals his eyes, though it actually ''has'' an eye on it itself.
* FaceHeelTurn
* FallenHero
* [[HiveQueen Hive King]]: Seems to play this role to the otherwise mindless Mutraddi.
* NiceHat: Which also lets him talk to the monsters he sends to Earth.
* PsychicPowers
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: before his face heel turn, he was a very agreeable guy.
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge: His whole motive seems to be to get revenge on the king for abandoning him on the Mutraddi homeworld.

!Solomon
->Voiced by Tim Russ

An enigmatic individual affiliated with a group known as the Galactic Guardians. His ambitions, motivation, and alignment remain to be seen, although to date he has typically served only to play as the voice of reason against the heavy-handed tactics of General Steel.

* BadAss: A little early to say, since he hasn't been shown to fight, but given that his favorite method of entering/exiting the scene is by jumping off a jet when he arrives and jumping back on the jet when he leaves, his physical prowess seems to surpass that of an average human, seeming about on par with Lance. Also, the outfit.
* HiddenAgendaVillain: If he is a villain.
* NiceHat: His whole wardrobe, really. Brings to mind [[{{Hellsing}} a certain vampire...]]

!General Steel
->Voiced by JohnDiMaggio

* ChronicHeroSyndrome: His speech during the televised debate over whether the Titan is a friend or a menace hints that part of the reason he so strongly detests the Titan is that people consider it a hero, and not people like him.
* {{Expy}}: Arguably of General Thaddeus E. "Thunderbolt" Ross from [[{{Hulk}} The Incredible Hulk]].
* GeneralRipper: Steel's violent obsession to stop any aliens tends to endanger his men and everyone around him.
* GoodIsNotNice: He's not really evil, and takes his job as a soldier seriously... but he's probably the least pleasant earthling we've seen in the series so far.
* JerkAss: The way he treats subordinates who disagree with him is a little less than reasonable, he also acts this way toward Solomon.
* MoreDakka: His solution to most problems is finding a bigger gun to fire at it. This has come back to bite him on the butt at least once so far.
