Trope was cut/disambiguated due to cleanup

* HeavySleeper: Lion knocked her across the room [[MakeMeWannaShout with a roar]], and she just told Steven to keep it down. And she doesn't even ''have'' to sleep or get tired, indicating she just didn't like to be interrupted while enjoying herself.

* AnimalMotif: Not blatantly obvious, but Amethyst seems to (like Steven) have a general cat motif going on. She has a CatSmile, has transformed into a cat a few times, has a wrestler persona called the Purple Puma, and has an extremely independent attitude and curious nature one would expect from a cat. To drive the point further, the intro of the pilot showed her resting on top of a couple of big cats, and her whips tend to have multiple ends, like a cat-o-nine-tails.

* CatSmile: It's more because of the way her lips are drawn when it's closed, but when she smiles, it looks like this. Given the fact that her lips are always like that regardless of whether she's smiling, and the revelation that she came out "defective" due to a malfunction at the Kindergarten where she was made, it could be a reference to an actual cleft lip.

* MorphicResonance: When shapeshifted into any of her many forms, in addition to the usual skin color and gem, she usually also retains her characteristic CatSmile and full lips.

By TRS decision Whip It Good is now a disambiguation page. Moving entries to appropriate tropes when possible.

* WhipItGood: Her weapon, summoned from the gem in her chest. Either as a single whip or [[DualWielding two]] if need be. Bismuth implies that whips, at least of the quality Amethyst produces, are rare among Quartz Soldiers, and upgrades the ends of it to act as an EpicFlail.

Trope is a disambig now

* PeekABangs: Her hair usually covers one of her eyes (most often the left), though wind and various movements regularly uncover it. Twice in [[Recap/StevenUniverseS1E40OnTheRun "On the Run"]] they cover both of her eyes.

Berserk Button is now overreactions to minor slights. None of these qualify anymore as they're either serious personal stuff, or mocking/harming one cares about

* BerserkButton:
** Rubbing her origins in her face.
** Being betrayed.
** Hurting Steven.
** Mocking Rose.

* TheNicknamer: Tends to call people she's fond of by affectionate nicknames. When mad at Peridot for the perceived betrayal by the green Gem, she angrily states she's "taking back all the cool nicknames she thought up for her" and plans to call her mean ones. And after Peridot reveals she was trying to SAVE Earth and insults Yellow Diamond to her face for the latter's refusal to listen, she happily calls Peridot "Peridactyl" while exclaiming how cool what she did was.

Replacing a Slapstick Knows No Gender pothole because that's no longer a trope by itself anymore.

* ButtMonkey: Being encased in a block of ice, repeatedly thrown at the Red Eye, blasted by Lion's sonic roar... Amethyst [[SlapstickKnowsNoGender is a prime target for most of the show's physical humor]].
