* DistressedDamsel: She get captured by Dorothy in Chapter 3, setting the stage for her tuning.

* ArcherArchetype: Wields a bow and attacks by shooting arrows, giving her an impressive attack range. Her Longshot and Heartshot techniques involve her launching arrows, and she even has a passive that lets her evade arrows more easily.

* ArcherArchetype: He's cold, calm, collected and arrogant, though his delusions put a fairly goofy spin on the concept.

* AnIcePerson: The final skill she learns via level-up is Ice Coffin, which sends a barrage of icicles at her targets and can freeze them and any water tiles in its path.

* BreakTheCutie: First [[spoiler:her father dies during the initial siege of Lambert at the start of the Eclipse]], and then when she manages to endure that tragedy, [[spoiler:her best friend turns out to actually be a piece of Mother Qualia and gets taken away and ultimately can't be saved.]]

* BoobsOfSteel: Probably the bustiest Witch (only Lisette rivals her) and definitely the most physically inclined among them. Despite this she seems constantly jealous of Nonoka.

* {{Bishonen}}: Alto has a light build and a handsome face.

* {{Bishonen}}: To go with his KnightInShiningArmor image, he is very fair-featured and handsome.

* {{Bishonen}}: Though he's considerably more mature looking than Alto.

* {{Foil}}: To Lisette. While Lisette is very friendly to each of the party members (in particular Alto), Sakuya is rather rude and unfriendly. In addition, instead of using spells to attack enemies from a distance, she prefers to get up close and personal.

* StanceSystem: Before she moves or attacks the player can switch between her Neutral or Sword-Drawing Stances. Sword-Drawing Stance reduces her movement speed but her stronger attacks (including the powerful Terminal Strike) are exclusive to that stance.
** Her later passives also give her abilities exclusive to each stance. Her Neutral stance sometimes allows her to negate all damage from a physical attack, but her Sword-Drawing Stance allows her to counterattack.

* DoesNotLikeMen: Shows shades of this. Although "Does not like people who aren't Hilda" may be more accurate.

To compensate, it takes a lot less effort for the player to max her Affinity (as her affinity is the same as Klaus' when he left), but the time window to do so is still quite tight.]]
* {{Expy}}: To [[VideoGame/EtrianOdyssey Olympia]], a purple haired girl with a BadassLongrobe that comes off for the [[spoiler: RoboticReveal]] serving a [[spoiler: fallen king]] that ends either as an ally or [[spoiler: committing suicide]] depending on player choices.

* [[GrewBeyondTheirProgramming Grew Beyond Her Programming]]: She was never meant to be anything more than a robot programmed to take orders, but somehow, she acquired her own set of emotions, beliefs, and ideals. She even [[spoiler: defies her master's orders and turns against him]] at the end of Chapter 10. By endgame, several characters claim that she's [[spoiler: a human at heart, with Veronica wanting to test and experiment on her as a result.]]

* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: Aspires to become one, as she notices that she has not made a significant effect on the kingdom since she took the crown, due to her advisors having made most of her decisions for her. To this end, she occasionally sneaks out into the city, posing as a civilian to better understand the people.
** She wanted to use the Anthem Project to move beyond her PuppetQueen past and do some real good for her kingdom. [[spoiler:Turns out, she was manipulated by Klaus into ushering forth the end of humanity.]]

* BladeOnAStick: His weapon; It contrasts Alto's [[HeroesPreferSwords sword]].

* BadassBaritone: He has a noticeably deep voice that contrasts [[spoiler:Alto's higher pitch]].
