* JustLikeRobinHood[=/=]LegacyCharacter: He is one of the many people who took up the name.
* TheLastOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers: He is the only Servant who, despite being the same Heroic Spirit from the Holy Grail War, is not the same one Hakuno faced. This is because the Heroic Spirit "Robin Hood" was not just a single person, but multiple people. The narrative refers to [[Literature/FateApocrypha Jack the Ripper]] as a comparison behind Robin Hood's summoning, as each summoning without a specific catalyst is not guaranteed to net the Master the same Robin Hood each time.

adorkable cleanup, now it's YMMV

* {{Adorkable}}: He's easily one of the most cheerful Servants in Seraph. He even likes being called informal names such as Charles or Chuck.

* BewareTheNiceOnes: He's {{Adorkable}} and one of the most easy-going Servants. But god help you if you commit an atrocious act like the Slane Theocracy soldiers that were slaughtering Carne Village.

Originally one of the [=NPCs=] created by Hakuno afrer arriving in Yggdrasil, he was granted the Archer-class Servant Robin Hood's Servant Matrix bythe Regalia following the migration into the New World. He was the Servant of Dan Blackmore in the Moon Cell Holy Grail War.
\\
\\
As an NPC, Robin Hood serves as a member of the Royal Guard under Charlemagne. Unlike the other Servants, however, this Robin Hood is not the same one that Hakuno encountered in the Grail War.
----
* AlternateSelf: Is not the same Robin Hood that Hakuno met in the Moon Holy Grail War.War, on account of the legend pertaining to Robin Hood. Had Hakuno learned ''which'' Robin Hood Blackmore had, he would have gotten that particularly Robin Hood.
* ArcherArchtype: He was an Archer-class Servant for a reason, especially since he relies on his bow for combat. He's also capable of sniping his enemies from a great distance.
* BloodKnight: Compared to the Robin Hood that served Dan Blackmore, this one is more willing to get up close and personal. In fact, he prefers fighting in the thick of the action, though he is willing to resort to trickery.
* CombatPragmatist: Like the other Robin Hood, he'll use any means to win victory, though he makes it clear he prefers fighting a foe face-to-face without the use of trickery.
* HeroWithBadPublicity: Zigzagged. Each Robin Hood has this sort of reputation, but it's unknown if this particular holder of the name has had the same trouble as his predecessors and successors.
* JustLikeRobinHood[=/=]LegacyCharacter: He is one of the many people who took up the name.

Originally the second {{NPC}} created by Hakuno Kishinami with the help of Tabula Smaragdina of Ainz Ooal Gown, he was granted the Saber-class Servant Charlemagne's Servant Matrix by the Regalia following the migration into the New World. He was the Servant of Kayneth El-Melloi in the Moon Cell Holy Grail War.

Added DiffLines:

* AlternateSelf: He is the Karl de Grobe of the poem, rather than the Holy Emperor himself.

Added DiffLines:

* BigDamnHeroes: Along with Robin Hood, he arrives to defend Carne Village from the raiders.

Added DiffLines:

* DoNotCallMePaul: He prefers being called Charles or Chuck.
* EmbarrassingNickname: He calls Archimedes "Archy," which grates on the latter's nerves.
* {{Expy}}: He's a fictional character in the Song of Roland. To be more specific, he's the fictional version of the historical Karl de Grobe.
* FamedInStory: He's recognized as one of the Nine Worthies, a group of nine individuals recognized as exemplars of chivalry, courage, and generalship, which includes the likes of other famous and powerful Servants like King Arthur, Alexander the Great, and Julius Caesar.
* FashionableAssymmetry: His right arm goes unarmored and instead has red lines running down his sleeve when compared to his gloved left hand.
* HeroesPreferSwords: His weapon of choice is the Joyeuse, a silver longsword with a blue pommel.
* IdealHero: Strong, kind, honorable, and always fights to defend the weak. He hates to see people get hurt but takes to the battlefield to protect others. Most of this comes from the fact that Charlemagne, or at least this version of him, is based on his depiction in the Song of Roland, where he's an ideal KnightInShiningArmor.
* InSeriesNickname: He's typically called Charles, Charlie or Chuck.
* KnightInShiningArmor: Since his existence is based off of his appearance in the Song of Roland, he embodies this trope to a T. When Enri sees him as he defends her from her attackers, she thinks of him as a paladin due to the soothing aura he emits. Funnily enough, as an NPC, two of his classes are [Knight] and [Holy Knight].
* LightIsGood: He's a kind-hearted knight, and he utilizes light in his attacks.
* LightningBruiser: His stats as an NPC are incredibly high, and the first attack he delivered came so quickly that Enri only barely saw him emerge from a Gate to kill her attacker.
* LiteralSplitPersonality: See AlternateSelf and IdealHero up above.
* MagneticHero: His Holy Knight Emperor skill gives him tremendous charisma, which he used to unite the Franks under the Holy Roman Empire.
* MyMasterRightOrWrong: Though Kayneth is a horrible person, Charlemagne still served him, not because there was a sense of loyalty to the man, but rather because Kayneth wanted to use the Holy Grail to make Sola happy.
* MultiColoredHair: He has black hair with white streaks in his bangs.
* NiceGuy: One of the most nicest people in Seraph and very close to Hakuno. [[BewareTheNiceOnes That said, he is not someone to make an enemy of]].
* RedBaron: The Captain of the Royal Guard. He also receives the title "Paladin" from Enri, with historical documents also referring to him as such.
* RuleOfCool: Enforced with his "Over The Royal Road" skill. A self-admonition skill by nature, it strengthens the user as long as they stick to the attitude of wanting to be a king and weakens them if they act opposite of that. In Charlemagne's case, it means that he grows stronger if he does things he thinks are cool and weakens him when he's doing something lame. This also means he's fixated on doing things he thinks are "cool" in part because he loves it and also to keep his strength up.
* TooManyBelts: He has a pointless belt across his chest underneath the band keeping his cape on along with another belt around his left arm. He also has another belt wrapping around his waist and coat and two pairs of belts wrapped around the scabbard of Joyuese.
* WhatsUpKingDude: Actively invoked by himself. He dispenses with his title as the King of the Franks and tells others to call him Charlie rather than his full title, Charlemagne, when they try to offer him proper respects.

Originally the second {{NPC}} created by Hakuno Kishinami with the help of Tabula Smaragdina of Ainz Ooal Gown, he was granted the Saber-class Servant Charlemagne's Servant Matrix by the Regalia following the migration into the New World.
\\
\\
As an NPC, Charlemagne serves as the Captain of the Royal Guard that protects Seraph's Sovereign.
----
* {{Adorkable}}: He's easily one of the most cheerful Servants in Seraph. He even likes being called informal names such as Charles or Chuck.
* AllMythsAreTrue: Charlemagne does exist, but he is based off of his existence from the Song of Roland. He even refers to himself as the shadow of Rex Magnus, which is one of Karl's titles.
* BadassCape: He wears a high-color one that goes halfway down his back.
* BadassLongcoat: His armor consists of something like this, unlike the more practical armors worn like Gawain or Artoria.
* BerserkButton: He becomes utterly ''livid'' when he discovers Carne Village under assault. This is most likely a result of his Karma being Positive 500, which is the highest value on the opposite end of the spectrum.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: He's {{Adorkable}} and one of the most easy-going Servants. But god help you if you commit an atrocious act like the Slane Theocracy soldiers that were slaughtering Carne Village.
* BlueIsHeroic: His outfit is primarily characterized by blue, white, and black, as is his primary sword, Joyuese.
* BuffySpeak: Despite being an example of chivalry, he talks like a modern-day teenager, casually calling Archimedes "Archy" and Hakuno "Haku."
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: He may act like a fool, but he is still a Servant and more than lives up to his role as Seraph's Captain of the Royal Guard.
