* CompositeCharacter: While this version of Nightmare is Siegfried, he has distinct aspects taken from Inferno, the second Nightmare. This includes his OneHandedZweihander style that introduced in ''III'', the monstrous arm being as detailed as his more recent appearances, and the use of [[VoiceOfTheLegion vocal enhancements]] to add to his presence when before he was just a LargeHam. Also, he has some lines taken from Graf Dumas, the third Nightmare, interestingly enough.

*BigWhat: She will utter this upon losing by ring out the second time in a row.

%%* {{Retcon}}: In the original ''Soulcalibur'', Xianghua's weapon was called the "Krita-Yuga" (really a masked form of the Soul Calibur and one of the three Ling-Sheng Su Temple sacred treasures, along with Kilik's Dvapara-Yuga and Kali-Yuga). The jian she wielded in games after the first ''SC'' was a jian with no name (which was almost certainly given to her by Edge Master, who does not name his weapons, and Xianghua left it nameless out of respect). ''VI'' hybridizes all of this and makes it so the sword retains its story from ''Soulcalibur'' (a keepsake given to Xianghua by her mother and is in reality the "Krita-Yuga" -- aka Soul Calibur) but is now nameless.
