* HammeredIntoTheGround: When sufficiently pissed, Lynn will bury the target of her unfathomable wrath up to their face. Dietrich, [[spoiler:Witige]], [[spoiler:Hildebrand]] and [[spoiler:Heime ([[AssociationFallacy for some reason]])]] experience this in separate ocassions.

* CurbStompBattle: Gawain is a powerful swordsman, but he's still heavily outmatched in two ocassions:

* HammerSpace: In two separate ocassions, Beowulf draws [[EmergencyEnergyTank a healing treasure]] and a speedo from a non-descript spot. Both times Beowulf was stark naked, making the list of possible spots where he could've kept such items decidedly... [[AssShove narrow]].

* GrewBeyondTheirProgramming: While at first Mjinn would unquestioningly fulfill Aladdin's orders and requests, over time she began to develop feelings for him, to the point she began disobeying him and giving him false information in order to keep him from hitting on other women ([[WhatIsThisThingYouCallLove much to her own confusion, initially]]).

* VirtualSidekick: Mjinn is an incredibly lifelike artificial intelligence that spends most of her time assisting Aladdin from his smartphone. She can move to other devices, such as Morgiana's tablet.

The djinn-looking A.I. inhabiting Aladdin's smartphone. She's capable of interfacing with the various drones used by the Persian team, and masterminds the plan to win the "Money" round. Possessive of Aladdin's attention.

* ShockCollar: Or rather, shock cock ring. No, really, Mjinn routinely zaps Aladdin's junk when he starts lusting after other women.

* InformedDeformity: No man ever calls Lynn beautiful, despite her seemingly having the same face as Princess Kriemhild, the most beautiful woman in the Germanic lands. In fact, people claim that Lynn has zero sex appeal and Siegfried doesn't feel attracted to her at all. [[spoiler:Ultimately justified. Her face has a {{curse}} that makes her look ugly to others.]]

** [[spoiler:After being hit by Gram's twin blade, Balmung, Lynn is turned into a man. Siegfried's magic can suppress the effect, but if he and Lynn are too far apart she'll revert.]]

* StomachOfHolding: [[spoiler:Orochi hoovers up all the loose magical gizmos from the Items round to collect them for Takeru. She seems mildly queasy until they're, ah, expelled.]]

* BeYourself: Alibaba is not particularly miffed about [[spoiler:being [[GenderBender turned into a woman]]]], and he certainly doesn't allow it to alter his personality. He also does not give a damn if Arthur thinks he could be cuter or whatever; he will remain true to himself no matter what.

* GenderBender: [[spoiler:Takes a hit from Gram during the People round. Morgiana uses Fem!Alibaba's body as incentive for Aladdin to continue in the Money round.]]

* SexForServices: At first Aladdin is not particularly motivated to try his luck against Brunhild, knowing that defeating her is impossible. In response, Morgiana sends him a picture of [[spoiler:Alibaba [[GenderBender turned into a woman by Gram]]]] and tells him that she'll let him have sex with her if he gets their team to qualify; [[LetsGetDangerous Aladdin promptly gets on his feet and starts working out a plan for victory with Mjinn's help]]. [[spoiler:When Aladdin [[DarkHorseVictory actually manages to pull it off]] and learns to his shock that the "brown beauty" in the picture was his own boss, he still garners the courage to earnestly proposition Alibaba for sex. Against all odds, Alibaba relents and grants Aladdin his "reward", much to [[ClingyJealousGirl Mjinn's]] chagrin.]]

* ClingyJealousGirl: She ''really'' doesn't care to see Aladdin eye other women. [[spoiler:When he takes up Fem!Alibaba on her offer of a roll in the hay for beating the qualifier, Mjinn throws a fit.]]

* PhallicWeapon: ...More like [[InvertedTrope Weaponized Phallus]]? Beowulf's most dangerous "sword" is the one he was born with. ''It [[StrongFleshWeakSteel breaks]] [[spoiler:Gawain's]] saber.''

* RespectedByTheRespected: After Mulan goes all out on the offensive, [[spoiler:Brunhild]] acknowledges her skill and power, calling her attack "splendid".

* {{Tsundere}}: Mulan is cold and irritable at the best of times, but when Attila calls her "a man amongst men" she happily marches off to fight [[spoiler:Brunhild]].

* NotSoInvincibleAfterAll: Witige has a reputation of being an [[MasterSwordsman undefeated swordsman]]. A reputation that [[spoiler:[[BadassNormal Lynn]]]] [[DarkHorseVictory puts an end to]].

* {{Tsundere}}: Mulan is cold and irritable at the best of times, but when Attila calls her "a man amongst men" she happily marches off to fight Brunhild.

* DistractedByTheSexy: Brunhild likes hot guys. She likes them enough that her brain shorts out when presented with a significant amount of masculine hotness. This is enough of a concern that her NumberTwo Valkyrie has to [[GetAholdOfYourselfMan kick some sense into her]] on occasion. [[spoiler:When Aladdin's [[CaperCrew heist crew]] in the "Money" round deploy their impromptu host club scheme, she's putty in their collective hands. [[{{Metaphorgotten}} Repressed, dangerous putty with the strength of marble]].]]

* DanceBattler: Kay's moves are so fresh, they unleash shockwaves with each twirl and spin.

A famous and accomplished warrior from Bern, and Dietrich's instructor. Appears (understandably) embarrassed of his old charge.

* ObfuscatingStupidity: Do not let Attila's happy-go-lucky attitude fool you. Always assume that he knows more than he lets on.

* SoreLoser: [{spoiler:Alibaba declares the fight against Arthur to be his defeat since Arthur saved his life, but he's certainly not happy about it. When Arthur insists that it's ''his'' defeat, Alibaba has none of it and starts fighting him again so he can't forfeit.]]

* OhCrap: Immediately realizes that [[spoiler:Kay's true form]] is bad news.

* ThrowingYourShieldAlwaysWorks: [[spoiler:When Rüdiger is tripped by Fafnir and drops his shield, it repeatedly ricochets off the barrier before hitting Fafnir on the back of his head. He's left thinking that [[ImprobableAimingSkills Rüdiger did so on purpose]], but it soon becomes clear that this is [[TheJinx Rüdiger's cuse at work]].]]

* TheJinx: For whatever reason, anyone who steals or receives anything from Rüdiger ends up meeting with misfortune. If it's a gift, it happens slowly; if it's been stolen, it happens immediately. Attila even muses that Rüdiger might be cursed, even though Rüdiger himself appears unaware of it. [[spoiler:Regardless, Attila is all too happy to exploit Rüdiger's curse for his own ends: before his duel with Fafnir, Attila gives Rüdiger a jewelled necklace. Shortly after Fafnir steals it, Mjinn shocks Sinbad (while zapping Aladdin [[ClingyJealousGirl for completely unrelated reasons]]) into accidentally [[MacrossMissileMassacre firing off the Golden Staff]] while the barrier surrounding the arena is open, which leaves Fafnir gasping for air on all fours shortly before [[WinsByDoingAbsolutelyNothing Rüdiger lands on him and knocks him out]].]]
