* SeriesMascot: While the group often jokes about Ivan being the "main character" or Curt running the channel, they're an EnsembleCast overall, none of them having any more importance than the other. Den however tends to be used in marketing for the group, even being placed in the center of their Season 2 banner, and getting her own plushy.

* SuccessThroughInsanity: Kristine due to her status of {{cloudcuckoolander}} was able to befuddled Recreyo-Chan, a multiversal entity who has been watching the Recreyo crew for a long time and was in the role of the host, in order to rescue Curt. Kristine was able to accomplish this by telling a story so disturbing and baffling that it stunned Recreyo-Chan long enough for the others to rescue Curt and gain enough power to defeat her.

* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: "Recreyo-chan" is not actually her name, rather it's just the name Recreyo gave her. Her actual name is known by Curt, but the he's cut off before he can say it.

* HeadsIWinTailsYouLose: [[spoiler:By virtue of being the scenario runner for the episode]], she's able to easily manipulate the events of the episode to ensure that the crew perfectly dances to her tune regardless of what choices they make.

The immediate following episode, "Can You Survive The Manananggal?", sees him trapped within the glitches periodically appearing and screwing for the others to save him, but going unnoticed for the whole episode.]]

** She finally makes her move following "What [=YouTubers=] Don't Tell You.", trying [[spoiler:and succeeding]] to kidnap and replace Curt, before then having the rest of the crew partake in another SCP scenario, successfully [[spoiler:killing]] Christian and Kristine while tricking Ivan and Den into helping her, the episode ending on a {{cliffhanger}}, revealing herself to them as the credits begin glitching out entirely as she's all but won.

** Curt is the one being saddled with [[MisplacedRetribution the blame]] for the glitches from the other members since he's the one who does the final upload, and during the apology video he made, the end of the video glitches again to show her symbol. Certain episodes would likewise depict her trying to ''snatch'' Curt from behind with him none the wiser, though for what reason is unknown.

* SadClown: Starting with "DON'T GOOGLE THIS IN 7 YEARS", it's made clear that Kristine, despite being very peppy and a GenkiGirl... is also very negative and nihilistic. Her main desire should she be allowed to travel seven years into the future is to figure out ''how'', not ''if'', she died since she rather not be forced to work anymore, her main advice as a content creator is that nothing matters and learn how to be more emotionally detached, she was once so burnt out that she hated even waking up before she eventually realized to stop giving a shit, and she openly admits that if giving the opportunity to be reincarnated after death she'd want to be reborn as ''Harambe'' so she could be killed again. The rest of Recreyo actually becomes concerned for her hearing her so nihilistic as a result.

While the following two videos would have no ''overt'' glitches, both would have said symbol show up in the eye of someone in the scenario she's implied to be connected to, "Can You Survive The Plague Doctor | SCP-049" having it appear in the eye of SCP-049, and "Can You Survive ''Film/TheMenu''" having it appear in ''Curt's'' eye. And while it's all but said Recreyo-chan had manipulated SCP-049 into thinking Recreyo had "the Pestilence" and facilitated his escape, the symbol appearing in his eye when he mentions "it" telling him about Recreyo, Curt gets the symbol when he is trying to alert the coast guard for help via blinking and instructing the animator to note that.
** For a brief period, the channel banner glitched and ''removed'' Christian from it, while the glitch representing her influence appeared behind the others. Multiple episodes were updated to list Christian as a FakeGuestStar, stating "Big thanks to Christian for joining us for this episode!", several of the glitches during episodes only seem to occur when ''Christian'' says something, and Christian makes a point of stating he ''didn't'' write the scenario "dont go [[Film/{{Barbarian}} downstairs]]" when Curt asks him why he "killed" Curt off, with a glitch of Recreyo-chan occurring at that ''exact'' moment, as if to say ''she'' wrote it. And like with SCP-049 and Curt, her symbol would appear in Christian's eye, his being notable however due to happening ''twice'' in concurrent episodes, first when he tells the animators to blow up the mansion as part of Ivan's EverybodyDiesEnding in "Can You Survive ''Film/{{Scream}}''", then when taking on the form of the titular "ROKO'S BASILISK", the latter episode ''also'' having a glitch not depicting Recreyo-chan, but depicting Christian as a ''robot'' while explaining the titular concept, no one noticing his face falling off as he puts it back on and screws it back into place.

While both could be rather upbeat and cause negative reactions in the rest of the crew with their behavior, Chilly was largely [[TheFriendNobodyLikes considered annoying]] and could be just as amoral as the rest of the crew, whereas Kristine's behavior generates [[ScreamingAtSquick gross-outs]] or bemusement at worst and is comparitively more moral than the rest of the crew. This is highlighted by their relationships with Curt: Chilly and Curt were SitcomArchNemesis, the two arguing constantly and trying to kill each other, while Kristine and Curt are VitriolicBestBuds, fighting each other just as much as they get along with each other.

Their GuestStarPartyMember however is Bryson/Haminations, a super fan of ''Harry Potter'' who knows all the lore and the perfect ways to flat out deny Ivan's attempts at stopping him, effectively letting Bryson stage a HostileShowTakeover and frustrating Ivan enough to rage quit.

** In ""We Found a Secret in this ''Cabin''.."", based on ''The Cabin in the Woods'', Ivan is designated "[[FinalGirl The Virgin]]" by the shadowy Organization, making him the analogue to '''Dana Polk''', in turn leaving him with the decision of killing his friends to appease the Ancient Ones. [[spoiler:Unlike Dana, who hesitated in killing Marty long enough to be attacked by the Werewolf before she could do anything concrete, Ivan doesn't hesitate to kill Den and Christian so he can return to "pondering the orb".]]
