When the Professor talks about the [[CruelAndUnusualDeath horrific ways]] the dinosaurs who experienced the asteroid impact died, they are only focused on how much food they would have at first but [[EveryoneHasStandards they do stop]] once the lesson goes on and the severity of the situation becomes more clear to them.
