Nekomew's biological mom, or former mom as she lost custody of him after spiraling into depression and ended up abusing both of her children after the death of her husband and Nekomew's dad.

* HalloweenCosplay: For the Halloween nightmare introduced for the games first anniversary, all the nightmares are dressing up as ''eachother''! Except for the Car which seems to be a dragon or a demon, [[spoiler: and of course the final nightmare.]]

* AllOfTheOtherReindeer: He didn't know anybody at the foster care faculty he was at before being adopted, and a certain trio of wolf pups seemed to pick on him during his stay.

* AbusiveParents: She's this after Nekomew's dad was hit and killed by a car after trying to get Nekomew who crossed the street on his own. She's wasn't the case before Nekomew's dad died.

* CatsAreMean: Justified, she only acted very abusive towards her own children because her husband died when a car hit him while trying to get Nekomew.

* BigSisterInstinct: It's heavily implied in ''Nightmares'' that she tried to spare Nekomew from the abuse they both suffered by their own mom, as shown in the Mum nightmare where she helps Nekomew in many ways. Even when Ms. Paloma came to take both away, she told Nekomew to hide downstairs while she ran out of the house, leaving any solid fate unknown.

* CatsAreMean: She ''might'' be this against her will. But it's the middle of the night so it might all be just in Nekomew's head.

* DrivenToVillainy: Heavily implied to be made to do some very bad things by ''her own mom.''
* GameOverMan: She's the one who comes for Nekomew if he ruins himself... Or in ''Nightmares'' wakes up. [[spoiler: She is replaced by their mom in the final levels that feature her.]]

* AffablyEvil: He doesn't seem to be mean about anything regarding the book he gave Nekomew's mom, simply hoping that she can find whoever she's looking for...

* ChuckCunninghamSyndrome: He's never seen or mentioned in ''Nightmares.'' This may be Justified, since it all takes place in Nekomew's... Well, [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin nightmares.]] And obviously he never seen or met this guy.
* GruesomeGoat: This goat hands Nekomew's mom a ''black magic book!'', so she could try to find Nekomew!
* {{Jumpscare}}: [[DownplayedTrope He doesn't actually have one of his own]], but his ghostly face briefly appears if Nekomew gets captured by his own mom.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: He might be a demon, and he happens to have red eyes. Or at least he's just into black magic.

* PaletteSwap: One of two monsters to receive ''two!'' One for The Nurse nightmare [[spoiler:as an ambulance]] and the other for "Happy Birthday...?". It also dresses up as the [[spoiler:evil mom]] in the Halloween 2023 level.

* CameraFiend: Is a Photographer after all! His main mechanic is his camera as the number of times he flashes you, the number of times you have to move to the opposite side. In Potty Trouble, you have to close your eyes to avoid being blinded by him.

* DetectiveAnimal: He's a anglerfish cop
* FaceOfAThug: He [[NightmareFace doesn't exactly]] have a pretty face.

* PaletteSwap: Like the car, she gets two! One for her "Return of" nightmare and of course "Happy Birthday...?". She also dresses up as the Photographer in the Halloween 2023 level.
* MagicWand: It's a toy one, but she has one for her "Return of" skin.

* DrivenToVillainy / TragicVillain: The death of her husband ''clearly'' didn't do her any favors.
* FinalBoss: For both ''Potty Trouble'' and ''Nightmares'', she's ''still'' this in the extra levels in both games. This has reason to it because... Well, she didn't treat Nekomew well after the death of her husband, making it her that scares Nekomew more than any of the other monsters.

* GoodParents: Well, she was ''before'' the car accident that took her husband's life.
* MaybeMagicMaybeMundane: She might be dabbling in dark magic solely to get her son back, but it might be something else entirely.

* OrWasItADream: The ending of Nekomew's Nightmares as her come into view shortly after her level is beaten.

Nekomew's biological dad, who worked as a handyman fixing sink pipes. Nekomew hadn't seen him since [[spoiler: He was hit by a car and taken to hospital, confirming he's dead.]]

* ChekhovsGunman: He may not play as much of a role as Nekomew's mom, but [[spoiler: his death is what spiraled his wife into depression to the point of abusing their two children, with Nekomew being taken away by social services while the sister's fate is... a mystery.]]

* JerkAss: The one thing he says after he spots Nekomew close by the day [[spoiler: Nekomew's dad was hit and killed by a car]] is "Get out of here!", but he may have been trying to not have Nekomew scarred from seeing the whole thing, though.

A black pup who suddenly went missing one day, from what Nekomew's new dad saw from his missing poster. [[spoiler: Nekomew's biological mom probably had something to do with it.]]

A cute little duckling that Nekomew seemed to made friends with at the foster care faculity, but was adopted.

* QuackingUp: He simply plays with a ball or had Nekomew do what he does.
* TokenGoodTeammate: From the two other characters seen in the Carer part of the ''"That Place"'' nightmare, he's the only one who doesn't do anything bad to Nekomew.

Just three wolf pups that are implied to either had bullied or played rough with Nekomew while he was at "that place" These three only appear in the ''"That Place"'' nightmare.

* KidsAreCruel: These three rascals throw balls at Nekomew! And they pointed and giggled at him when he first showed up, if that doesn't imply these kids are jerks.
* SavageWolves: Just a trio of implied bullies who happen to be wolf pups.
* SupportPartyMember: They never appear on their own, only appearing in one single nightmare.

* StarterVillain: About as easy to handle as Ms. Paloma and the Photographer. [[spoiler: If you take to account Ms. Paloma started visiting after Nekomew's former dad was hit by this car, this nightmare is chronologically the first!]]

* CatsAreMagic: ''Maybe.'' She is seen using magic in ''Nightmares'', and in a secret cutscene in ''Potty Trouble'' might be the start of using this.

* FinalBoss: For both ''Potty Trouble'' and ''Nightmares'', she's still this in the Extra Nightmares in the latter game. This has reason to it because... Well, she didn't treat Nekomew well after the death of her husband, making it her that scares Nekomew more than any of the other monsters.

* SupportPartyMember: She's the only one who never is a threat outside of a GameOver. She only gets Nekomew if he [[PottyFailure ruins himself]] in ''Potty Trouble'', and only her shadow appears in the hallway if Nekomew [[CatapultNightmare wakes up]] in ''Nightmares''.

* AmbiguousSituation: Is he really a demonic goat who gave Nekomew's mom demonic powers, or is it a metaphor for something?
