* From Nobody to Nightmare: Foreshadowed. Hinako at the start doesn't showcase a lot of badass moments compared to Elis. However, over the course of the story so far, she demonstrates moments where her actions carry merit in her own way. Sometimes elevated to a frightening degree. [[spoiler:Based on the first chapter, the encounter with Wisest Giant and the prophecy, it is hinted that Hinako carries a gigantic dark presence that is capable of destroying the world. This dark presence is often illustrated as a distorted and overwhelming shadow of nightmarish appearance.]]

* Improvisational Ingenuity: Hinako can be a quick-thinker and quick to act in solving a problem with little time with the resources at her disposal. Demonstrated in Chapter 13 [[spoiler:where she used her second bottle of Soma, a healing potion, to feed into Junko through mouth-to-mouth to prevent Junko from killing herself to create another time loop.]]
* MaybeMagicMaybeMundane: We know that Hinako did not accept a [[NewLifeInAnotherWorldBonus Cheat Skill]], but there is something ''off'' about her in certain moments where the world almost seems to twist to her whims and emotions with shadows curling in surreal and obtuse angles around her making her appear monstrous and gigantic. The Giant chief seems to know something about it as he is patently terrified of her even though she is so much smaller and weaker than him. [[spoiler:Then in Chapter 11 during a moment of heightened emotion an eclipse that was supposed to happen, just happened to coincide with their fight, has Hinako's face rage filled face imprinted on it, which allows her to get the drop on Junko Hidako, slashing her throat. It doesn't stick due to Hidako's [[NewLifeInAnotherWorldBonus Cheat Skill]], but both other people present are shocked by the moment.]]
* Start of Darkness: Hinako's journey in the story so far, from the origins of her arrival to the Other World to her single purpose driving her, has been motivated by dark actions she purposely done by her own hands. A fact that she herself is aware of.

* Weak, but Skilled: Without a cheat, an amputated arm, and small body, Hinako has a disadvantage compared to other Otherworlders with cheats and tougher opponents. Despite that physical disadvantage, Hinako makes up for it with her quick-thinking actions and equipment.

* The Ace: Elis is the primary fighter between her and Hinako. Elis's giant physiology and magic capabilities make her an extremely powerful and skilled warrior. The sheer power of her skills leave a lot of people whether her opponents to her allies, in awe of her abilities.

* Chekov's Skill: Etiquette. Downplayed over the course of the story but brought into relevancy in a flashback. A significant character development for Elis. [[spoiler:It was revealed that Elis's ability to interact with other living creatures that weren't her species was taught by Hinako when they first met. Learning manners as a means of interacting with other people allowed Elis to communicate and learn each of their individual skills to apply to her own abilities.]]
* Lightning Bruiser: Despite her size and inherent power, Elis is incredibly agile and fast during combat. Able to perform acrobatic moves in very confined spaces and not giving herself an opening when she fights.

* One-Man Army: Elis's giant size, magic capabilities, and combat skills gives her all the advantage of fighting multiple opponents smaller than her to even larger opponents.

* Smarter Than You Look: Despite initially letting Hinako decide her actions and how her race are perceived as dimwitted brutes, Elis is a lot smarter and perceptive than she lets on.

* MagicKnight: Eiris is classified as a wizard, and a very powerful one at that, but this can be hard to tell as she is capable of solving most encounters with just her martial prowess.

* MultiMeleeMaster: While Eiris defaults to a giant shovel, she demonstrates the ability to fight with a great variety of melee and ranged weapons, including unarmed.

* ShovelStrike: Eiris' weapon of choice. She often uses magic to change its form to suit different situations.
* {{Yandere}}: Eiris is both very possessive and protective of her new older sister, and is willing to kill anyone and everyone who would try to harm her. And often capable of doing so, too.

* TheBait: Hinako's ''modus operandi''. She has a monster-ruling bell that she uses to catch their attention during combat. She often does this without consulting anyone else in the party with the expectation that Eiris can kill the distracted monsters before she herself is killed by them.

An energetic young giant who looks up to her new older sister Hinako, protecting her from harm as they adventure together in the search of what they have lost.

* CreepyGood: When Hidako gets intense, she can easily produce the most terrifying panels out of any other character in the manga.
* TheFettered: Hidako's actions are guided largely by her conviction in both "God" and her "siblings", and the lengths that she is willing to go for both puts her firmly under this trope.
* TheHeart: It is explicitly made clear that her function is to be the caretaker and the emotional core of her party, and that it is the only thing that she realistically ''can'' do as she does not possess any special powers, fighting prowess or exceptional smarts. This is despite possessing [[GoodIsNotNice many traits not normally associated with this character type]].
