to:

+'''AxeCrazy''': Almost everyone in the Resurrectionist faction are this or on the verge of becoming it. The real distinction is between those that can maintain the MaskOfSanity and those who can't.
+'''BigBad''': The power behind the whole faction, the Grave Spirit, is a literal manifestation of the concept of Death in the setting. Its goal is the cessation of all life, and its why the Resurrectionists are their own faction, shunned by everyone. This is what makes them their own movement instead of just a bunch of morbid Arcanists, and why other groups only deal with as a last resort.
+'''CavalryOfTheDead''': Downplayed, Resurrectionists aren't going to just summon hordes to dump on their opponent, instead it has a lot of models capable of replacing losses to reinforce their crews. A lucky turn 4-5 summon can get enough bodies on the field to tip the scales for a win.
+'''EnemyMine''': The default situation when characters from different factions meet when Ressers are involved.
+'''EvilVsOblivion''': While individual Ressers can be sympathetic (Molly Squidpiddge, Kirai Ankoku), this is basically the description of any Tyrant-backed faction (Hamlin, Rasputina, Dreamer, Tara) against the Resurrectionists. Although in the case of Tara its more '''Oblivion''' vs ''Oblivion''
+ '''GoMadFromTheRevelation''': Implied to be the result of learning anything about the Grave Spirit beyond its existence. Every Resurrectionist is insane and its implied that one of the first steps in joining the club begins with SanitySlippage from the Grave Spirit paying a little too much attention to your existend.
+'''MaskOfSanity''': Aside from the blatantly AxeCrazy characters, nearly everyone is putting on a show to hide their activities from the Guild, Resurrectionists, Outcasts etc. Aforementioned less subtle individuals nearly all embraced this trope before succumbing, except Seamus.
+'''{{Necromancer}}''': Basically every master is some form of this, its pretty central to the faction's identity.
+'''OmnicidalManiac''': The Grave Spirit, its literally the concept of Death, it wants everything to die.
++ All Resurrectionists are touched by the Grave Spirit, whether they're aware of it or not, and it guides their actions to fulfil its goals; ergo nearly everyone is unwittingly this, or in the case Seamus, fully aware and doesn't care.
+'''SlidingScaleOfUndeadRegeneration''': Exists to a varying degree between the crews.
+'''TheUndead''': Its probably easier to list people who aren't some form of this.

The Resurrectionists are are loose collection of necromancers, grave robbers, and other equally malicious killers. They’re hated by pretty much everyone, but the Guild in particular would love to see every single one of them hanged for their blatant use of dark magic. Despite this, their individual motivations vary wildly and their members count cult leaders, sentient undead, mad scientists, and sentient undead among their numbers. Most aren’t the most social types, but they’re not quite as black and white as they look on the surface.

!!Ancestor & Retainer
The people of the Three Kingdoms have always honored their ancestors with rituals that seem strange to westerners. These rituals were mostly a matter of tradition on Earth, but in Malifaux, where magic flows freely, they can be called back with powerful and dark magics, walking among the living once again.

!!Experimental
There are many reasons why a man might willing delve into the dark arts. But those who do so in the name of knowledge are perhaps the most terrifying. As morals erode and the dark whispers of the Grave Spirit take hold, even the most ethical of scientists could crack. One who was mad to begin with could become a monster beyond compare.

!!Forgotten
Not all of the undead are inherently hostile to the living. Some are victims of circumstance, transformed into horrors against their will, but not deprived of that will. These ghouls would love nothing more than to be able to live their unlives without fear, but their appearance and powers makes them objects of terror to the living.

!!Redchapel
The Redchapel District is one of the most infamous in all of Malifaux. First, because it was the most lawless and decadent of red light district in the city. But the brothels soon attracted darker attention and stories of the vicious serial killer known as the Redchapel Killer soon started to fill the headlines…

!!Revenant
Malifaux City’s Quarantine Zone overflows with the poor, the downtrodden, and the desperate. Most are just trying to survive without living underneath the Guild’s iron fist, but their lives are harder for it. Some prey upon their desperation, but others try to raise them up, using their power to try to make things better for everyone.

The Neverborn have always feared necromancy, referring to it as the Dread Art and forbidding it to all of their people. But sometimes the situation is dire enough that even the most sacred of rules can be broken. And those Nephilim who are willing to wield the power of death can be truly horrifying foes.

!!Tormented
Many souls do not rest easily in Malifaux. Some are innocents consigned to a grim fate, but many are the spirits of the guilty, the damned, and the evil, their spirits bound to torment and hunt those like them for all eternity. Few sleep easily when they know these dark spirits are on the prowl, hunting for their next victims.

Transmortis University is perhaps Malifaux’s most feared institution of higher learning. Or so its unfortunate staff would like to believe. Born of a deep madness of its founder, it serves as a place of learning for necromancers and horrific artificers, creating undead abominations of flesh and steel and sending their graduates out to recruit new students for their research.

!!Urami
Ghost stories are a common way to pass the time for children and adults alike. But in Malifaux they can take on a dangerous life of their own. Horrible things are born from these folktales… or perhaps these undead horrors inspired some of the oldest ghost stories, having lurked in the darkness since time immemorial.

The whispers of the Grave Spirit do not discriminate. Anyone can be taken by them, the secrets of life and death poured into their head by the dark voice and granting them control over necromantic magic. Others seek the power deliberately, desperate enough that they will do whatever it takes to accomplish their goals.
