* SelfieFiend: Her main personality trait. Everything she does ''has'' to be shown to her followers.

* WantsAPrizeForBasicDecency: She sometimes has problems with this. For example, she once made a big deal about the Christmas gifts she was giving to Bernice and Delta. Bernice's gift was a giant empty cardboard box, which Luann called a "Big Box of 'Sorry'", as in Luann was apologizing for how self-centered she had acted in the past. Delta's gift turned out to be... Delta's sweater, which Luann had borrowed and never returned. Bernice and Delta were less than impressed, and Luann was left dumbfounded as to why her friends weren't more grateful for [[SarcasmMode these thoughtful Christmas presents.]]

* HeroesLoveDogs: He's great with dogs, and thinking of becoming a veterinarian.

* MrFanservice: Is a very muscular jock, and has appeared naked twice.

* Cloudcuckoolander: His head is always in the clouds.

* {{Jerkass}}: Can be this at times. Special mention goes to her filming Stef and Tiffany's fight to add clout to her channel, instead of doing anything to stop it. Her breakup with Gunter solidifies her as this.

* OfficialCouple: Him and Bets. He was the BetaCouple with Rosa back when Luann and Quill were the strip’s OfficialCouple.

* KarmaHoudini: She never really gets any come-uppance beyond her schemes simply failing.

* SmittenTeenageGirl: While in high school, Luann was always utterly ''obsessed'' with one boy or another. One of the collected editions of the strip was even titled "Boys, Bras, Braces, [[DepartmentOfRedundancyDepartment and Boys]]." Finally having a boyfriend helped her to outgrow this mindset, as she has been much less "boy-crazy" since breaking up with Quill during college.

* {{Flanderization}}: Summer 2023 saw her go from an interesting, complex character who tried to seduce Kip every once in a while; to being completely obsessed with seducing Kip, even deluding herself into thinking ''he'' was the one hitting on ''her''.

* CovertPervert: You wouldn't know it from her character (besides her being a nudist), but [[https://www.gocomics.com/luann/2016/05/24 she mentioned to Bernice about having naked yoga meditation with a boy she liked]].

* TheBully: He was first introduced as a bully wanting to beat up Gunther.

* Flanderization: Summer 2023 saw her go from an interesting, complex character who tried to seduce Kop every once in a while, to being completely obsessed with seducing Kip, even deluding herself into thinking ''he'' was the one hitting on ''her''.

* StringingTheHopelessSuitorAlong: He was on the receiving end of this from Luann. As much as she didn’t want to date him, she still enjoyed the idea of someone pining for her, she she’d get possessive of Gunther whenever it looked like someone might draw his attention or he’d simply give up on her. And then as soon as he was smitten with her again, she’d go back to ignoring him.

* JerkassHasAPoint: She was right about the art teacher being pretentious. She din't have to be such a snide bitch about it, though.

* ToxicFriendInfluence: She fulfills this role for Luann just as T.J. once did for Brad. At very least, Luann would still have for job at the daycare if it weren't for Tara.

* KarmaHoudini: She never really gets any come-uppence beyond her schemes simply failing.

* SmugSnake: She's underhanded, but really not as smart as she thinks she is. Most of her appearances have her lording miniscule amounts of power over the few people below her.

* JerkAss: He's pretty much constantly rude and selfish.

* JerkassHasAPoint: She was right about the art teacher being pretentious.
