While initially, they seem to be hurt by Dax and Ron's constant chirping, it turns out they were distracted by their separation and weren't bothered by it at the slightest - in fact, they think it [[ActuallyPrettyFunny some top tier chirping]] and admit it would be more alarming if they weren't getting chirps from gay guys, considering how they look.

The team spends season 3 trying to get at least one win during a disastrous series, and they ultimately don't get one because the last game of the season is called a draw due to a brawl. However, the Letterkenny Irish kicked the absolute everloving shit out of the opposing team (and in defence of Katy's honor to boot) and finally came together, which makes even Coach proud.

* CharacterTics: ALWAYS kicking trashcans. At one point he even brings a trash can to a golf course just to kick it since there wouldnt normally be one around.

* FormerlyFat: Becauss he's been [[CatchPhrase going to the gym]] before and during Season 10. Obviously, this trope applies because of Mark Forward's impressive real world weight loss.

* HiddenDepths: He practices on the ice every day and well into the night, to the point of throwing up from over exertion.

* JerkAss: He may be hilarious, but he ''is'' a complete douchebag who runs his mouth to Jonesy and Reilly for no good reason, and has repeatedly made misogynistic comments and sexually harassed women. It gets to a point that literally nobody in town ''likes'' him and only tolerate him at best (all of the other hockey players dislike him, and he's also provoked the ire of Dax and Ron too). Best illustrated when he takes umbrage at Jonesy and Reilly insinuating that Gordie Howe was a better player than Wayne Gretzky, and goes out of his way to be as rude about it as possible.

* LaserGuidedKarma: His JerkAss antics finally catch up to him in the eighth season, when he gets thrown in the penalty box for unsportsmanlike behavior culminating with him ruthlessly attacking someone who was laughing off his chirps. Jonesy and Reilly even [[KickTheSonOfABitch take the chance to get even with him]] by getting his ass beat by Joint Boy and Tyson while in the penalty box after he makes crude comments about Katy.

* PersonaNonGrata: Apparently banned from Canada's Wonderland due to repeated instances of inappropriate behavior in public.

* SmugSnake: In Season 8, as a deconstruction of his trollish behavior. While he is still a talented player, he focuses so much on antagonizing other players that when he meets someone who can just laugh off his chirps, he grows angrier and angrier and plays significantly worse, up to the point where the team only starts scoring goals after he gets thrown in the penalty box for starting a fight with a dirty hit. Later on he even costs Tanis' team the championship retroactively because it turns out he messed up the paperwork because of his trollish, no-shits-given attitude.

* {{Troll}}: His entire character. This extends to his conduct on the ice, as he ''constantly'' chirps other players and talks tons of shit, and plays like a dick with tons of snowing and dirty hits. Eventually deconstructed, as it's shown that nothing pisses him off more than a player who can laugh off his chirps, and when Shoresy gets mad, he becomes a significantly less effective player (to the point where the team doesn't start scoring goals until he gets thrown in the box). This tendency is also lampshaded by several TSN commentators, who point out that he cares way more about being a dick and pissing people off than playing, and cite him as an overall liability to the team despite his ability. This is to the point that tactically he ends up more valuable to the team as someone to sacrifice rather than a player.

* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: They triggered Tanis' arson spree by double-crossing her and reselling cigarettes that she had sold them at a substantial discount after having agreed not to.

* CharacterDevelopment: Subverted, following an intervention in Season 5, Season 6 has Stewart going sober, cutting his hair and acting more confident. Unfortunately this all goes out the window once Gae leaves. From Season 7 onwards Stewart more or less reverts to his Season 1 personality, growing his hair long again, diving back into drugs. The only noticeable development since is his body bulking up.

* HiddenDepths: Wants to be a DJ and doesn't seem to be too bad at it, from what we've heard. He also likes rap music and has an encyclopaedic knowledge of hockey, to the point that it even convinces ''Wayne'' to hang out with him. He's also repeatedly shown to be a competent programmer and has a decent grasp of business and finances.

* NiceHat: Wears a black bowler hat to symbolise that he's the leader.

* SoHappyTogether: ...but they unfortunately have to break it off after it becomes too dangerous for Stewart and Roald to stay in the city.

* HiddenDepths: In the Easter special, Glen and the hockey bros walk in on Roald contentedly painting an enormous self portrait. He also has an ''"inspiration board"'' full of character studies and sketches for his... ''"personal entertainment,"'' that he apparently drew himself.

Stewart's partner for the first couple seasons. He later turned against Stewart, reconciled, and was suddenly PutOnABus.

* NietzscheWannabe: Comes off as this, with her claims that she hates the world, her parents and herself.

* PetTheDog: One genuinely wholesome (relatively-speaking) act she does is create (with the help of Stuart and Roald) and sell a strain of roofies that discolours a drink so as to prevent date rape. Her logic (which isn't incorrect) is that people are inevitably going to do drugs at the club, so they may as well distribute something that can't be used badly.
* [[PsychopathicManchild Psychopathic Womanchild]]: Easily the most outwardly malicious of the Skids, and her love of wanton, pointless destruction and general selfishness and amoral tendencies make it obvious that there is something genuinely wrong with her.

Gail's cousin, who Wayne ends up in an on-and-off relationship with.

* BirdsOfAFeather: With Wayne. They share a similar sense of humor, they love dogs and have a similar attitude towards life.

* PutOnABus: Leaves for Vancouver to work in a pitbull rescue shelter near the end of season 5, which means she and Wayne amicably break things off.

Rosie's favorite cousin (and Gail's second-favorite), who Gail hires to fend off some degens from [=MoDean's=] II.

* TheFriendNobodyLikes: The Hicks respect [=McMurray=] as a farmer and member of the community, but ''barely'' tolerate him as a person on a good day, and Katy doesn't even tolerate him and makes no attempt to hide her disdain for him; as the call-ins on ''Crack N Ag'' demonstrate, it is likely that this sentiment is not limited to them by any means. Mrs. [=McMurray=] is somewhat more well-liked, but her inappropriate antics with her husband, habitual drunkenness, and all-around coarseness clearly grate on people as well. When they're drunk, people generally don't even bother hiding their disdain for them, as their tendency to be incredibly inappropriate and subject anyone in their vicinity to extremely explicit and graphic rundowns of their sexual proclivities is infamous all throughout the town.

[=McMurray=]'s younger sister, who works a number of odd jobs around town.

* OnlySaneWoman: Bonnie is arguably one of the most "normal" characters in the series, and is the quickest to note the strange behavior of the rest of the town. Even her quasi-obsession with Wayne is toned down significantly in later seasons.

* AscendedFangirl: She is a really big fan of the sports presenters in season 8, and is visibly flustered when she's invited on their show.

* RealWomenNeverWearDresses: Invokes this when Wayne buys her a grill apron as a Christmas gift, which strikes a little too close to StayInTheKitchen for her, and Wayne has to explain that he bought it because he thought she'd get a kick out of what the apron said ("WHY YOU ALL UP IN MY GRILL?") due to how annoyed she gets when people get between her and the grill. Fortunately, once she gets the joke, she eases up.

* SupremeChef: She's a master in front of the grill, and her cookouts are a big ticket event because of it.

Walking advertisement for local gym ''The Basement,'' and occasional ally to the Hicks. Later joins the Letterkenny Irish.

* CampGay: Ron is much more campy than Dax, and the mere mention of his sexuality is enough to drive him into a horned-up frenzy.

* ThoseTwoGuys: The gym rat answer to Reilly and Jonesy.

The town's agricultural auctioneer, frequently called on to MC other events around town.

* PoliticallyIncorrectVillain: Degens are infamous for being racist, misogynist, homophobic, etc., to the point that the Hicks consider them a key part of "degen behavior."

* BestialityIsDepraved: They fucked an ostrich, allegedly. It should be noted that when Wayne and Tanis discussed this right in front of them, the Ginger and Boots made no move to clarify or deny it. Notably, when one of the Skids runs away from them during the scrap with the Natives at the end of season 1 (even though they are on one side), both are initially confused but then gesture to each other in a "yeah, that makes sense" matter.

* FlatCharacter: Practically the only recurring characters to never get any sort of development. In fact their most defining trait is what they allegedly did to the ostrich.

* HeelFaceRevolvingDoor: She starts out as an ally to the Hicks until the end of season six, when she dumps Daryl. This holds true until the beginning of season ten: having shown up at the end of season nine to reveal that she's now dating Dierks, she dumps him and goes back to siding with the Hicks.

* DatingWhatDaddyHates: Her brother, not her father - Jean-Claude adamantly despises Wayne for being English, as well as for being Daryl's friend after [[spoiler:Anik leaves him for Daryl.]]

* PetTheDog: Despite [[spoiler:Katy kicking her in the crotch for cheating on Wayne]], Marie-Fred travels to Letterkenny to warn Katy about [[spoiler:Dierks cheating on her]], as well as to apologise to Wayne.

An American friend of Wayne's cousin Jake who immediately gets under Wayne's skin due to his slimy and sexist nature.

* HateSink: Even disregarding the fact that [[spoiler:he was cheating on Katy]], he's still a rude, disrespectful, obnoxious douchebag who thinks that he's some sort of redneck heartthrob, but is really just a loutish wannabe country boy loser. He is tellingly disliked almost instantly by everyone he meets (all of whom visibly struggle to hide their contempt for him, especially Wayne), and it is only out of a need to not alienate Katy and drive her closer to him that they bite their tongues.

* NoHoldsBarredBeatdown: Was on the receiving end of one from most of the main characters after [[spoiler:he cheated on Katy.]]

** This comes full circle in Season 10 when she bets the [=McMurrays=] that their exploits won't shock her [[HeadsIWinTailsYouLose ("If I win, I get a case of beer from you, if you win, you buy me a case of beer."). Naturally, she's completely stoic... until Mrs. [=McMurray=] [[ComicalOverreacting reveals that she fools around with her husband with her socks on.]]
